The café was surprisingly quiet when I visited, which made it a great spot to unwind. The space feels cosy and welcoming, with friendly staff, a small kids’ play area and a few shaded outdoor seats for those who enjoy dining outside. I had their mocha and really enjoyed it — rich, comforting and easily the highlight of my visit. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite hit the mark. I ordered the Shakshuka, but it tasted rather bland. The eggs were overcooked and the meat lacked flavour, so it’s not something I’d reorder or recommend. Overall, I’d come back again for the coffee, peaceful ambience and cosy vibes, but I’d probably try something else on the menu next time.

Such a pleasant experience for a morning meeting at this lovely cafe! I m not a breakfast person but I couldn’t resist its fluffy n delicious scones! Go extremely well with my long black. The staff was very friendly. Offered to give us (3 pax) two tables to be more comfortable. Also spoke mandarin to us when they heard us greeted our friend in mandarin. Very thoughtful. Definitely worth my trip to the west! (There are children books and “daily bread”!)

There was a cockroach in their toilet, and the basin was filthy. Not the kind of mess from daily use but something that has been sitting there for long. I can't trust a place if they can't keep their toilet clean, especially it is their own..

Stopped at this coffee shop for a morning coffee. The staff was really friendly, giving off a welcoming vibe. Atmosphere was also very relaxed, with warm, yellow lights and comfortable seats. As I was the only one ordering, the coffee came really fast. I ordered a Magic Coffee (White Coffee), where the coffee aroma is more potent. The coffee is nothing short of spectacular, made with real effort (as can be seen from the artwork made in the coffee) and aromatic coffee beans. The taste is slightly bitter, which is expected because of the potency. A really satisfying coffee to awaken your senses and satiate your body with this. There's more items on the menu too. Overall, a good stop for you and your friends to enjoy delectable coffee and snacks!

Very tasty, drink and waffle. Playground is like outside with a very nice reading corner inside for kids and adults. The indoor seating is a little bit small and echoey but still good enough for us

Updated from 3 to 5 stars, Dec’25 visit. Was in the area and decided to try out this famous cafe. The moment we opened the glass door, the aroma of their coffee beans flooded us and we were eager to try out their offerings. Ordered the mocha and waffle with ice cream (yeah not so much coffee), and was thoroughly disappointed.. ☕️ the mocha - I didn’t know what I’m drinking really.. it’s not bad tasting, perhaps it’s just that the coffee is a heavy kind that overpowers the entire drink 🧇 I have never eaten any waffle like this, there’s a taste that I can’t put a word to - same thing, it’s not bad tasting, but I just can’t appreciate it for what it is Probably won’t return as it really didn’t suit our palate..

Heavily recommended coffee destination in the West. OGs in the SG coffee/ barrista scene. Thought our coffee would be made by the award winning barista, but didn't seem so. Not sure what a matcha mont blanc is, but it appeared to be a regular matcha, topped with vanilla cream. Drinks were good but not distinctive. Am interested in trying more beans from nylon however. Food took quite awhile to arrive (more than half hour), seems to have been some mix-up in the kitchen. Almost cancelled cuz we had an appointment to keep. Food wasn't exceptional, but was well presented. Looked good. A lot of regulars as clientele. The lady boss appeared to be in tight crisis mode with how much she zipped around. Commend her composure however. Decor was tasteful and mellow, enjoyed the look and feel of the area. Seems like many people agree, judging from the eclectic expat clientele. Feels vaguely Christian despite the lack of religious iconography. Will say that prices are extremely high for the HDB location, and risen significantly in these last two to three years.

Nice chill vibe ambience to get your caffeine fix. The coffee brews smell delicious in a small cafe setting.
