☕️ One of the Top Coffee Roasters I found in Singapore Came here just to get beans as I heard lots of buzz through online and my visit to Nylon satisfied me as I came in after lunch hours (late 1 PM i guessed) Their staff was super friendly and able to guide with selections available since they’re all pioneers in Specialty Coffee industry I brought “Buku Abel” based my from the notes mentioned and sniffing through all the beans available for sale. Their owner, Dennis said that it has lots of characteristics to experiment with and it’s true! 😄 They also gave free stickers upon purchase and so far it’s one of memorable and worth buying moments in Singapore. I recommend Nylon to Specialty Coffee-like people if you’re planning to visit soon, someday I’ll come again for another visit and wishing Nylon all the best for upcoming success! ✨

Monday, May 25, 2026. Came for coffee early in the morning ☕ Open from 9 am on weekends, 8:30 am on weekdays. Not crowded at all. **Environment:** The name is quite interesting; Nylon = New York + London, commemorating the founders' exposure to coffee culture in both cities. The shop is tucked away on the ground floor of a HDB block in Everton Park, Singapore. The storefront is simple and understated, blending seamlessly into the community without any flashy signs. There are long benches, vending machines, and plenty of greenery at the entrance, creating a quiet yet distinctive atmosphere. **Taste:** I tried three coffees this time. The first was a hand-drip coffee, a Colombian Juan Martin, with flavors of Red Striped Bourbon/Washed Berry, Red Plum, Nectarine, and Orange Tea, priced at SGD 7.5. The acidity was quite balanced. I didn't add ice; the hot flavor was great, which I liked. The second was a White, in a Medium (5oz) cup, priced at SGD 5.3. The first cup was velvety smooth, with no thick foam or layering – just perfect. The coffee was rich but not overpowering, the milk sweet but not cloying, and the aftertaste lingered! A truly excellent milk-based coffee. The third was a Long Black, made with Nicaragua Finca Libre Red Catuai / Washed beans, a flavor profile of Red Grape, Dried Apricot, Golden Raisin, and Milk Chocolate. Clean and balanced, with prominent red fruit sweetness and a silky finish, it's a perfect Central American bean for a Long Black. The Long Black is made by first adding water and then double espresso, preserving the crema well. It was served hot, with rich layers and a refreshing sweetness – highly recommended. Service: Excellent service. The three staff members each performed their duties effectively. Everyone was friendly, and the barista was chatty and enjoyable. The lady making the pour-over coffee was very skilled and had a great work ethic. The latte art artist treated each cup with care, demonstrating the dedication of two people. Communication was seamless in both Chinese and English, and payment options included Visa and WeChat. Value for money: Normal coffee prices, not expensive. It's a community coffee shop that focuses on making coffee honestly. There are no specialty drinks or tea snacks, just coffee beans, hand-drip coffee, black coffee, milk coffee, and related products.

Multiple visits and Nylon has never once missed. No food menu, small standing-room plus some sitting space indoor and outdoor in Everton Park, roastery visible behind glass with the IMF roaster running. The whole setup makes clear that coffee is the only agenda here. The bar runs a Mahlkönig CORE grinder into an xBloom precision brewer — consistent, technical, no shortcuts. Brewed at 1:17 across filters, which gives the cup exceptional clarity. The bean rotation is genuinely impressive. I've had the Washed Ethiopia Banko Gotiti Heirloom — bright, lemonade-like, floral. The Washed Nicaragua Parainema — stone fruit and wild honey. And the Colombia La Laja Washed Geisha — one of the cleaner, more elegant cups I've had in Singapore. The menu rotates with the same seriousness as the brewing. If you're new to specialty coffee, Nylon will reset your expectations. If you already know what you're looking for, you'll keep coming back. One of the best in the city, full stop.

Since then, it has maintained an iron-clad reputation as one of the finest roasteries in the region. Arriving on a Thursday morning, I found the space already bustling with an eclectic crowd. To my surprise, a significant number of the patrons today appeared to be visiting from Mainland China. It seems the word has well and truly spread; the Chinese specialty coffee scene is currently world-class with many exceptional roasteries of its own, so to see such a dedicated following here is a testament to Nylon’s international standing. These are clearly coffee fanatics; the average tourist would likely settle for the convenience of Starbucks or Luckin, but those in the know seek out this hidden gem. I opted for a Long Black, featuring their seasonal Honduras El Puente espresso beans. It was balanced and vibrant—exactly what one expects from such a pedigree. Naturally, I couldn’t leave empty-handed and purchased two bags of the Brazil Serra dos Ciganos beans to enjoy as my home espresso brew. The service here is, quite simply, superlative. It is arguably the best I have experienced at any coffee establishment in Singapore. The staff and baristas are not only friendly but deeply knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about their craft. This is a refreshing change in a local cafe scene where many baristas unfortunately treat the art of coffee as a mere "job" rather than a calling. Here, the barista takes the time to personally check in on customers, asking after the quality of the brew and ensuring everyone is satisfied. The interior is a triumph of modern, minimalist design, striking a perfect balance between an industrial aesthetic and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Characterised by crisp white walls and polished concrete flooring with delicate white stone inlays, the space is softened by rich wooden accents. The layout is clever and functional, offering a variety of seating options despite the compact footprint. Customers can be found leaning over the turquoise-legged communal standing table, perched on the perimeter wooden benches, or relaxing against the built-in brown banquette. The lighting is soft and indirect, emanating from recessed ceiling fixtures and subtle backlighting that washes over the walls. Strategically placed potted plants on high ledges add a refreshing touch of greenery, while a lone landscape painting on the far wall enhances the cosy, contemplative vibe. It is an uncluttered, professional, yet deeply welcoming environment that places the focus exactly where it should be: on the coffee. Nylon Coffee is an essential pilgrimage for any coffee lover visiting Singapore. For those of us lucky enough to live here, it is a cornerstone of our local culture, keeping the standards of the "Singapore Cafe Scene" high. I cannot recommend this tiny joint highly enough—though do consider yourself forewarned: it is absolutely jam-packed on weekends and public holidays. Arrive early or on a weekday (except Tuesdays) to truly savour the experience.

Cozy intimate space with a fair amount of spaces to sit/stand. Coffee here is very good! Very unassuming place if I hadn't seen all the raving reviews. Service was also a nice added touch, with the staff going around asking about the coffee.

What I admire most about Nylon is its philosophy: to focus on one thing and do it well—a simple, pure, and honest cup of coffee. Years from now, long after I've left Singapore, I may not remember every tasting note. But I will remember the afternoon light at Everton Park, the breeze drifting through the old estate, and the quiet satisfaction of holding a truly good cup of coffee.

The pour over here is really good and the staff are super friendly. The vibe of the place is also nice. But it would be great if there were more seating option inside, but it is quite small and probably designed for those who just need a quick coffee fix. Overall, still a great experience.
