Despite the busy Saturday morning crowd, the café had a welcoming and energetic atmosphere. It was filled mostly with young people catching up over brunch, yet the background music was lively without being overpowering, making it easy to enjoy a proper conversation.
What impressed me most was the hospitality. We had only intended to grab our drinks to go, but the friendly and polite waitress invited us to take a seat and even offered complimentary water while we waited. It’s a small gesture, but one that made us feel genuinely welcome.
The drinks were excellent. The Kaya Toast Latte was a standout, capturing the familiar flavours of kaya toast with fragrant pandan and creamy coconut milk, while still delivering a satisfying coffee kick. The Citrus Cloud Cold Brew was equally memorable—bright with yuzu, calamansi and lemon, refreshingly citrusy without overwhelming the coffee, and perfectly balanced from the first sip to the last.
Whether you’re serious about your coffee or simply looking for a comfortable place to catch up with friends, Common Man Coffee Roasters continues to deliver. Great coffee, warm service and a vibrant atmosphere make it a café that is well worth returning to.
