Starbucks Plaza Singapura

Been a loyal Starbucks patron for years, but I have to be honest - the drink quality has noticeably declined lately, and it feels quite lousy compared to what I remember. Not sure if it’s a Singapore-wide thing or specific to certain branches, but I distinctly recall enjoying much better consistency and quality back in the Philippines. That said, this particular branch at Plaza Singapura redeems itself with its space. It’s spacious, comfortable, and genuinely one of my go-to spots whenever I need a place to get some work done. The ambiance and seating make up for a lot.

Disappointing experience at Starbucks Plaza Singapura. We’re regular customers here and currently staying nearby at Mt. Sophia, so we often stop by for coffee before grocery shopping. Unfortunately, it’s been very difficult to find seats because many people stay for hours studying or doing homework, and some even leave their books or laptops to “reserve” tables while away. It makes it unfair for paying customers who just want to enjoy coffee or snacks. Management should consider setting a time limit (for example 30–60 minutes during busy hours) or encourage customers to make another purchase if staying longer. It would make the space more accessible for everyone.

Visited Starbucks at Plaza Singapura around 8pm. My pre-purchased Shopee 1-for-1 deal was not initially recognized, which led to a duplicate payment being made. After clarification, the staff promptly checked and processed a refund. By the time it was resolved, the drink had melted, so the overall experience was not ideal, but the issue was eventually corrected. This may be an area where clearer familiarity with third-party promotions could help improve customer experience. “Proverbs 15:1 — A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”

As a regular customer of Starbucks in Singapore, I find that the drinks quality is generally good and consistent, and they are made according to your requests. The customer service is also usually friendly and approachable. However, the downside is that the quality of the tiramisu cake seems to have dropped. This is not only at this outlet but at other outlets as well. The cake layers are noticeably drier compared to before—so dry that it feels like I might have been served one of the last few slices from a batch that had been sitting in the fridge for two or three days. On the positive side, the seating area here is spacious and the capacity is quite large. However, during peak periods, weekends, or festive seasons, it can still be difficult to find a seat.

Starbucks - Plaza Singapura What a unique design making you feel one with nature. Open 24 Hours. Beautiful wood all throughout. Coffee leaf and branch artwork and walls, making you immersed somewhere in coffee farm. I stopped by to grab a quick drink to walk around the mall and explore. It was bustling with people and not many seats left available. The space is large enough to accommodate 40+ guests. Their pastry selection was vast, offering delicious treats for everyone with a sweet tooth. If you’re in the mood for something less sweet, they had good selection, as well. Staff and quality of menu offered was good. I would definitely recommend it and happy to return.

I think starbuck should remove all the charging point ! Also put a sign “ not a place for studying ! Most of the people sit there without buying a drink ! Some can bring in bubble tea and consume inside starbuck ! The worst part is most of these people are educated ! I sit drinking , almost 30 min and no one came back ! Most of these students will go macdonld or food court to eat something and come back to the reserve area hahha . I think starbuck should have strict rules . Everyone is taking for granted ! Remove wifi and power station . Only for people who has recipes will receive wifi code . I think staff have the rights to check whether people who sit here are ordering coffee or tea ! This bad habit is polluting a other generation thinking is to do this kind of act . Selfish act !

Staff service here is absolutely super. Nice and accommodating,even gave me a cup of warm water to rinse off the tastebuds later after having something heavy like the cheesecake 🥹 so nice!
