Starbucks

Went there a few times for lunch break when I work from home. This particular outlet is pretty famous among westies due to its vicinity at the bank of Jurong Lake and beautiful and high ceiling indoor dining space. So popular that in certain hours, customers are only permitted to hang around an hour max. It's also one of two cafes in Jurong Lake that permit pets (another one being Canopy Cafe in Chinese Garden Island). Granted, Starbucks stuffs tend to be overpriced and the only coffee I'd find acceptable is their cold brew, but the view from the shaded outdoor seating is unbeatable, especially in the evening.

1st visit and followed GMaps to reach. Nearer walk from Lakeside mrt station & Had walked from North carpark or private car hire dropoff point. Marked by NParks as located at Lakeside Garden, Lakeside House. Crowded after 9am onwards The only place opened early in the morning, before 8am, very spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating (some shelter) and enjoying great view of the lake and greenery. Its Breakfast set menu from $6.90 ends at 2pm. Power outlet charging points towards back of the store and window seating (probably glazed windows as can't feel the Apr scorching heat and humidity). Saw some reviewed a 60min limit by staff for those working on their laptop, fortunately? T2T being there for more than an hour enjoying breakfast and the scenery, surfing on mobile without an issue on a Friday. Staff walked around the store clearing some tables, however when T2T switched to the window seating, the table had some food bits. Exited few mins before 11am and pop by the boardwalk.

Nice location with easy walk from Lakeside MRT. Lovely view of the lake esp if sitting outside. Was already warm temperature by 830 am so decided to sit inside. Nice choices of breakfast menu. Enjoyed the quiche n chicken croissant.

Just keeping it real here, no shade to the staff, you guys are awesome! My review isn’t about you, I promise. I absolutely loved the vibe and the place itself. However, I didn’t buy anything from Starbucks because, well… I’m on a personal boicott mission. (Some of you might know why, others can just imagine me sipping air dramatically instead.) But overall? Pretty solid experience. Okay lah! 👌🏽 Let me be frank here, absolutely no offense to any staff, it really has nothing to do with you guys! You guys are great! I personally love the environment and atmosphere here. I just didn’t buy anything from Starbucks because I’m “boycotting” it. (For some personal reasons, maybe some of you know why; if you do, just laugh it off, if you don’t, just imagine me drinking air.) Overall, not bad! 👌🏽

Very nice ambience in this branch and a lot of customers here to chillax. Hard to find seats in a way also. Service is ok and drinks same standard as other branch.

Disappointing experience at this particular outlet. I ordered via 'Mobile Order and Pay', and the order status was 'In progress' for 15 mins. When I asked the staff they said someone else took my order, and I have to order again! Like what! Hello? The app clearly said Order in Progress, so I waited and when the wait was long enough I walked up to the collection area. Although they did give me my order eventually, without having to reorder, this was certainly a bad experience. Disappointed in both the customer who just took an order which was not theirs and the staff who let it happen. This has never happened to me at any other Starbucks!

Awesome cafe, and it’s the only eatery available at jurong lake garden. We appreciated that they are pet friendly and we saw many dog owners around while we were there. The pets are only allowed at the outdoor areas just for your information. It has a very nice atmosphere and the outdoor area offered a fantastic view of the lake area, very soothing and peaceful sipping coffee sitting outdoor. Drinks and food was as expected at all Starbucks outlets here in Singapore. Service was friendly too, making it a pleasant experience dining here.

June 2026: ambience is top notch. Seats outside facing the lake and inside where there’s aircon. Walkable from lake side mrt even if you dun intend to walk the lake.
