Halo Cafe

It's delicious!! Today was my first visit, and I ordered the Blueberry Bonbon cake and an Iced Americano. I thought, "13 dollars for a cake? That's a bit expensive," but it is delicious! The top layer consists of blueberries, compote, and blueberry cream, and layers of sponge cake, cream, and blueberries are laid out. I usually don't like creams that have something mixed in, but this one is just delicious! The sponge cake seems to be Earl Grey colored, but I don't think I could smell any scent. Is it an Earl Grey sponge cake?! Anyway, the sponge cake is chewy!! It's chewy and fluffy, so I don't get tired of it even after eating the whole thing! It seems they take custom cake orders, and the packaging is super meticulous and the staff are very friendly! The Americano is reasonably priced and delicious. I like that the beans aren't acidic!!

This was my first time ordering from Halo Cafe, and I had a wonderful experience. I ordered a birthday cake for an elderly birthday celebrant, and Jeremy was professional, helpful, and very polite throughout the entire process. The customer service was excellent. The cake was freshly made, and the flavors were unique, delicious, and not overly sweet. The birthday celebrant said it was really tasty, and everyone enjoyed it. Thank you for making the celebration so special. Highly recommended!

This cosy spot is perfect for slow afternoons & yapping seshs with your friends, paired with the most adorable pastries & cakes! 🍰☕️ Definitely worth trying their Pistachio Strawberry Basque - TIL strawberry and pistachio can be this addictive together! 💚💗The nutty pistachio flavour pairs perfectly with the light hint of sweetness from the pastel pink strawberry layer. The cake is rich & creamy, with a denser mouthfeel that I prefer in Basque cheesecakes to the gooey type! The Oreo Chocolate Chip Cake is a chocolate lover’s dream - every component from top to bottom is loaded with chocolate goodness! The Oreo crumble in the middle adds a perfect crunch against the fluffy chiffon base & choco cream~ The Matcha Strawberry was well-balanced, smooth & slightly sweet - one of the better ones in recent memory! Dropped by the newly opened Halo Café by Just Cakes Studio at NEWest for dessert. Tried the Tiramisu — decent flavor and texture, though a little pricey at $15. The design is simple, warm, and bright, creating a pleasant space to sit and unwind. Service was friendly and attentive, which added to the experience. A cozy new spot for an afternoon treat — refined desserts, good service, and inviting ambience, though prices lean premium. Rating: 4/5.

Everything is so cute about this shop from its cakes to interior. The cakes can tell is made from high quality ingredients. Coffee is great as well!. Excellent service 👍 If you’re looking for good quality cakes definitely will recommend Halo. :)

The cake look nice . Not sure the cake is place too long or , the sponge cake has a weird taste.not sure it is mixed w cream flavor or ..

Outstanding cakes that are generous with the fruit and — get this — “not too sweet.” I’ll have to try their cakes for occasions for sure.
