Baker & Cook

Was within Greenwood landed estate… came for a caffeine fix in during weekday’ afternoon. It has both indoor and outdoor seatings. Decided the latter as the weather was overcast. I usually have their sourdough breads… but was too full. So a nice long black will do. Good plc to do some reading/ catching up with frens. And free parking along the street. Do expect this plc to be crowded during weekends!

Visited on 19th September. Male staff behind the cashier was very grouchy, not just with me, but other patrons as well. Have visited a few times before and thought maybe its just me. He never, ever, has a smile on his face. You should rename this branch Baker & Cook & Grouchy.

Came here for a quick and light breakfast on a Saturday morning with wife. Had a matcha latte, a café latte, and a pastry. Also ordered another pastry to go. Total came up to over $20, which we paid with triple plus points and vouchers. Service was polite and professional. Ambience was quite good as well.

This location was open earlier than the rest which was a lifesaver to free kids in the early AM.

Been here twice for breakfast and it's one of my favourite cafes. The black coffee is just perfect that we even bought the beans. Brunch is delicious with good portion.

Chicken Ham roll is perfectly seasoned, moist, and perfect for breakfast.

We have been to Baker & Cook Hillcrest religiously ever since we moved into the neighbourhood and found this gem of an eatery. The staff are always warm and friendly - regardless of which time of the day and/or whichever day we visit, the food is consistently tasty and hearty, and the ambience is always welcoming and comfortable. Definitely worth a visit!
