We had a late dinner here, and even though everything felt a bit rushed on our end, the staffs made us feel completely welcome. The service was what I appreciated the most. They never rushed us, and the Chinese lady who served us was so sweet, caring, and beautiful! They have a wide selection of food, mainly Western dishes. Unfortunately, we missed out on their brunch menu, which looks like it has more of a "dessert" style, but dinner did not disappoint. Both the fish and chips and the beef double cheeseburger absolutely stole my heart! The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

I used to enjoy the steaks here but today changed my mind and I will not be returning ever again because of the horrible service that the 2 staffs at 5pm+ served me. When I asked for her name she refused to say because she knows she did something wrong. How can you tell a customer it is their duty to check the order because you did not inform me that mash potato is a separate charge? When I had to take a photo of the place because I couldn’t catch the names of the 2 rude workers, see the cameras on how they stare at me like gangsters and lined up at the counter. So many workers but all cannot work, no wonder the restaurant so empty hahahh

A bit open, table shaky. The folks can be a little warmer in being hospitable. The food portion is large, very well presented and love the flavor. Their strawberry chicken salad was generous and I love it. Steak (ribeye) was juicy. Overall it’s a nice place.

Rise & Grind is a lovely bistro with a relaxing and comfortable ambience. The food is great and the service is super friendly. We had fish&chips, mushroom chicken chop and topped up the meal with coffee and cakes. Prices are affordable and reasonable making it a great place for a casual meal. Overall, a pleasant dining experience and definitely worth visiting again. Would not hesitate to recommend this eatery.

Staying in fernvale, just to drive there try out their breakfast menu. Price is reasonable, lower then those ps cafe. Coffee is spot on. They have more vary of Coffee choice. Not like others only standard. Service maybe can be more welcoming with smile. Although this cafe does not charge Service charges 10% like others. Portion big. ( to me as a lady small eater).

Food is always of good quality, ever since my first visit years ago! 👍🏼 Today I am especially touched by the service of their staff - it was my turn to enter the doctor’s office opposite the cafe (I didn’t expect to be my turn so fast), and I had to leave my food & coffee for a while before returning to eat. When I returned to the cafe, the service staff Ms. Kay made a fresh cup of latte for me. She kept my food until I came back. Thank you so much for this warmth & hospitality! It makes a difference especially when one is not feeling well 🙏❤️

Wanted to order coffee to go. But was greeted with an extremely bad attitude. I was waiting patiently at the entrance, then a man behind the counter in golden hair tied up with an awkward ponytail looked at me "yes?" No smile nothing. Almost looking abit pissed to be at work. (Maybe he's had a bad morning, it's fine, let it go) So I said very very nicely "can I order coffee to go?" No reply, he just showed me the hand ✋. Literally the hand that looks like ✋ to me and looked away. Now things were getting a tad awkward for me. I know it's a morning, I took just needed a coffee to start the day. But I tolerated his attitude. Then he looked up at me and point to the space in front of the cashier counter, gesturing for me to come here. *Still tolerating and holding it in at this point. I just wanted my coffee. So I ordered. His replies came in a really bad tone and absolutely zero eye contact. It almost sounds like he really didn't want to be here and is showing me attitude on purpose. Then came to the payment part. Him: "payment by?" Me: "pay wave" Scanned 1st time, didn't work. Then he said "again". So I scanned again. Didn't work second time. Still zero eye contact at this point and in an even angrier tone this time "u use visa?" I said no it's Google pay, with amex I believe. No reply, just angrily drop one POS machine and picked up another POS machine. Then shoved it to my phone. Paid and worked this time. "Wait outside" that's it!!! I mean I get it, everyone has a bad day, but in the service line, you honestly cannot do this to your customers. I'm surprised I maintained my emotions this whole time...... But honestly, the management NEEDS to look into this and educate this employee.

A little disappointed that the milk shake have to pay extra when order via app that did not indicate any amt for milk shake with a set. Another little disappointment due to not having vanilla as the classic milkshake choice of most restaurants with milkshakes. End up with strawberry milkshake and it was mixed with some syrup to make one. When the carbonara was served, it was served with a thumb touching the gravy / sauce that was on the edge of plate but linked with rest of the food inside the plate. Just beo the cctv should be able to see that. Or at least see me wiping away (pathetic attempt from me anyway) the touched portion. Wife did say that the carbonara tasted ok. Fries was ok.
