Me and my partner went here earlier today! What we had here: 1. Lemon cake: Cut slice was very generous! My partner didn’t find it that sour but I thought it was sour enough 2. Chocolate pound cake: Appreciated the effort of making it hot after cutting before serving me 3. Iced coffee: If you want milk in coffee, order iced latte instead of iced coffee While I feel the service is top notch, as the owner took time to say hello and also to serve food to us. However we didn’t like the fact that all seats were outside the restaurant, so it’s quite humid and hot.

Been here quite a few times over the years. The price is quite expensive for a HDB area where one would expect the rental to be lower. However the food is of good quality. Have tried a few tarts, black forrest cake and the apple pie. As an apple pie lover who tries apple pie whenever I come across it, this apple pie is the best I’ve had ($12). The filling is generous and deserving of the price. Sweetness is just right. It is so good that it ranks second to McDonalds apple pie which is my all time favourite due to its consistency and it being less than $2x. The owner is friendly and takes pride in his goods. He will answer your questions about the ingredients for those with dietary restrictions.

My wife and I were here today (10 February 2026) to takeaway some of its dessert bakes. It has been a while since we were last here. While my wife took away her usual favourites from Fredo's Bakery (that is a Chiffon Of The Day and a Scone Of Today, which were both as always, excellent) I took away for the first time, its Pandan Mascarpone with Gula Melaka Cake slice. And this, turned out to be excellent in terms of taste and texture and priced at $11.20, it was in my opinion, reasonably priced, considering the quality and quantity. Service at Fredo's Bakery was as always very good - very friendly and courteous. And whilst there was an outdoor dining area at Fredo's Bakery that seemed nice albeit Spartan, my wife and I like to enjoy our dessert bakes from Fredo's Bakery in the leisurely comforts of our home.

Ordered the following with my personal rating out of 5*: Baked Almond tart 3 Fruits tart 5 Yuzu Meringue tart 5* Gianduja choc & lemon tart 1 Cinnamon apple tart 3 Yuzu and Fruits tarts are the best. Choc was way too sweet. Almond had too many nuts, a bit imbalanced. Cinnamon apple was ok. Suggestion: combine the choc with the nuts on top, then the combo will be perfect. Service was disappointing with poor customer service, unlikely I will ever go back again. For the price you pay, it ought to be better.

My first time here. Came as my friends highly recommended them. Bought a few items from sweets to savoury. The highlight was definitely the tarts and the black forest cake. Im a big fan of black forest cakes and im happy to say that theirs was absolutely delicious. Cherries were well soaked in liquor which was hard to find nowadays but really made it so much more appealing. Quiches were alright but personally not really worth the price i paid for them. Overall their offerings were not cheap but quality wise was pretty good. Will be back for their black forest cake and tarts!

I tried a few items from Fredo’s Bakery. The Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart had an interesting mix of sweet and salty, but personally, the combination didn’t work for me as the aftertaste felt a bit odd. The Black Forest cake looked beautiful, but the alcohol flavour and strong kirsch-soaked cherries made it slightly bitter for my taste, though the overall flavour was quite balanced. I really enjoyed the Lemon Pound Cake — it was spongy, nicely lemony, a bit moist, and had a good balance of sweetness.

This west side bakery is great … and despite the name, not Italian. 😉 They have a wide array of sweet and savory baked goodies. Got a savory scone, and it was top notch. The coffees that they make in house are also super smooth and balanced. Outside seating available. All told a great spot for a morning snack.

everything at Fredo's is yummy ans dangerous for the lips, hips and wallet. When you go there, you'll want everything! I try to limit my visits to once a month and do indulge in a few things at a time. Atmosphere is a measly 3 stars only because you'd have to suffer the heat if you decide to eat there. But the cakes, pastries and breads are good. Don't balk at prices. You get what you pay for.
