Classic Cakes

We recently celebrated my grandfather's birthday and ordered his favourite from classic cakes – their classic black forest cake. It was moist, full of cherries and the cream was light and fresh. It was enjoyed by the whole table and even some of the restaurant staff! I always recommend classic cakes anytime someone is looking for a black forest cake

Located at Sunset Way. Black Forest is a classic favour for those cake lover who are seeking light, authentic, "old-school" Black Forest recipes that aren't too sweet. Healthy choice to pamper ourself. 😆😆😆 Can wait to have another piece of cakes.

This is the best radish cake I have tried so far. Way better than other well known restuarant or pastry bakery brand. The chillis is to die for too. Must try!!!

Went on a Friday evening. Drove quite a distance for the yam cake. The carrot taste was really good and deserved a 5 star. The attitude of the staff was really bad otherwise the overall score would be much higher.

Their Black Forest Cake is hands down one of the best I’ve had — rich, balanced, and always a crowd favourite. My colleagues absolutely love it. Personally, I can’t resist their pistachio cake, which is beautifully made and incredibly satisfying without being overly sweet. What I appreciate most, however, is how this bakery continues to honour tradition. In a world where many bakeries focus only on trendy pastries and desserts, they still take pride in making traditional savoury favourites like yam cake, pumpkin cake, and radish cake. These are increasingly hard to find done well, and it’s heartening to see a business preserving these heritage flavours. Great cakes, authentic traditional treats, and genuine passion for their craft. We should continue supporting businesses like this — they’re becoming far too rare.

Sep 2025: wow! Their pumpkin yam cake is suppeeerrrr good!👍 soft and moist and tasty. I keep wanting an additional helping of it. Definitely a find!

sell 1 piece of pathetic forest cake for $6.50! the yam or carrot cake selling for over $20 for that small pathetic piece! this place is daylight robbery! even if its good, selling for that ridiculous prices is absurd! selling for that ridiculous prices, yet their attitude is as if take it or leave it, as if they make the best pastries (which is not!). extremely bad service and atritude. dont waste your money and time, just avoid it! DONT EVEN WORTH A SINGLE STAR!!
