Butter & Cream Bakery

It was our first time trying their tarts, although we had previously tried the cheesecake from another outlet located in a mall. The tart base was cookie-like, which we were okay with, though it might be a bit sweet the more you eat. The filling (egg custard) was quite milky, and the portion was okay. Overall, it was a mediocre cookie-base egg tart. As for the salted egg yolk version, there wasn't much difference in taste, nor was there a strong salted egg yolk flavour.

This is the basque cheesecake that I received that supposedly cost $8.90. Really?

I absolutely love the cupcakes from Butter & Cream Bakery! They usually have this amazing offer buy 5, get 1 free which makes it even better. Yesterday, I bought six cupcakes: two Blueberry, one Cranberry, one Hokkaido Milk, one Orange, and one nutty-flavored one (can’t recall the exact name). Each cupcake had its own distinct flavor and charm all of them were delicious! But oh my god, the Orange cupcake completely stole my heart! 🍊 The aroma, the fragrance it’s so refreshing and heavenly. And if you want something that literally melts in your mouth, go for the Hokkaido Milk cupcake the creamy center is divine🤤 The Blueberry and Cranberry ones are classic and tasty too. Overall, six pieces for $15 feels totally worth it. 💛 Also, sorry for the photo 😅 I was so excited to eat them that I ended up eating two cupcakes first and then remembered, “Wait, I need to click pictures!” 😂 A must-try spot for all cupcake lovers beautifully made, rich in flavor, and such a delightful treat!

Joined the queue on a Wednesday afternoon. An old lady was behind me but I chose to let her go first since the lady at the counter saw it and chose not to correct the woman. Later when it was my turn, I saw that there was no more original cheese egg tart, so I proceeded to ask the lady at the counter, she said that they were sold out for the rest of the day. Which makes me wonder because isn’t this their staple lol. Anyways it’s ok since they already say they ran out of it. I then requested for a dark chocolate muffin and a yuzu earl grey one. The same lady at the counter decided it was a good move to pick the one from another person’s box to give it to me. I told her I wanted the fresh one from the oven as it was already ready and just waiting to cool. The lady told me that the one from the oven was too hot to be serve now. 5 minutes into my meal from a distance I saw she had already placed the ready dark chocolate muffin out for display. Seriously don’t know what’s wrong with this woman. All I know is I ended up with someone’s else’s muffin 👍🏼

Love the original egg tarts!

It’s a decent muffin but it’s quite dry and doesn’t really have a butter fragrance.. just wasnt up to my expectations unfortunately

There's a buy 5 free 1 ongoing promotion however I wasn't told that there's no further 10% discount when using the ntuc app. They should've been upfront about it. Their prices of about $2.90 - $4+ for a tart or muffin weren't cheap to begin with, especially for a kopitiam setting. The pastries were alright, not bad, but nothing to rave about.

Very rude Vietnamese lady working as cashier. I guess the shop owner will have to look into their customer service, probably can look into their CCTV footage to see how their worker work. Date : 15th Sept 2026, timing : 5.40-5.45pm
