The worse outlet ever . Ordered 3 drinks, one chili tuna set and additional Ala Carte eggs. Cashier did not input Ala Carte eggs into system, asked him to repeat order and no eggs . Told me rudely they will be served . Went to counter again to show that receipt did not capture additional egg order . Aunty proceeds to gaslight me by telling me I ordered hard boil eggs so it will be delayed , kept insisting I ordered hard boiled eggs despite me saying no and showing her the receipt . Told her I even didn’t pay for the extra eggs an ordered and proceeded to pay on the spot . Even then I was left hanging for the eggs . Asked her again and told me it was a different cashier that took my order ( gaslighting 100% and pls check ur CCTV%) . I get u work in CS but the least u could do is stop being defensive and gaslight ur customers when it’s clearly ur fault . For the amount TB charges for basic coffee and tea , the least you could do is train ur staff to speak English , clarify orders and just do their job . Looking at the reviews for most outlets , TB needs to seriously consider an overhaul . Use profits to train staff and ensure food and service consistency . We don’t need new outlets every other month when ur service is so questionable . Disappointing as a local brand

Bought back 2 beehoon sets. The chicken wing was deep fried till black. It was obviously fried over more than once and using oil that has been reused several times. Very bad for health to eat it. Terrible to serve this.

The food is extremely bad, and some of the “youngster” staff have a poor attitude. I once got served undercooked chicken, and the staff reluctantly re-fried it…after that, the chicken was so tough, it was completely inedible. The prawn noodle soup tasted just like plain water… I suggest they can learn from the Marina Bay Sands branch. This outlet is completely unacceptable!

This person is unhygienic, digging ears, then serving customers while talking with colleagues without wearing mask on although the rest don masks. Poor work culture at this outlet. Need to improve the overall hygiene of this place.

Ordering food at Toast Box is such a pain. There are three types of menus plastered all over the place: 1. Behind the ordering counter on the large overhead cabinets 2. On the countertop next to the cashier. 3. On the side of the countertop in front of the customer. #1 shows some individual items in set meal prices. You will have to ask the staff for individual prices. #2 shows in a list the prices of drinks, hot and cold and different sizes, and bread, in different types and pieces. This is fortunately clear enough. #3 shows another group of individual items in individual but not set meal prices. The staff will ask you if you want the item as a set, and you will have to accept the set-meal price given to you as it is, since it is not listed anywhere. Changing the drink in a set meal will incur an additional charge. This is a common and fair practice since drinks have different prices. But, it is not transparent at all as the additional charge is also not given anywhere on the menu and you have to take it as told to you. The cashier does not show you an itemised bill. The staff will only give you a final amount to be paid without repeating your order for confirmation, and you will not get a receipt unless you ask for one. You have such a big space on the overhead cabinets. Is it that difficult to consolidate all your prices into one place? How difficult is it to train your staff to do the basic things—repeating an order for confirmation and asking if a receipt is required—right? Toast Box, I expect you to do better as a local company that has gone international. Your prices are so much higher than your competitors like Ya Kun but your standards are not necessarily higher.

I’ve never come across staff with such a poor attitude. The service was extremely disappointing my orders were wrong, and instead of taking responsibility, the staff simply pushed the issue to another staff that’s handling the food order, else without resolving it. What’s worse, there wasn’t even the basic courtesy of providing an order number I had to figure it out myself. When I approached to check, the response we got was, “You eating here or dabao? If eating here then I give you la.” The tone was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. At the end of the day, customers don’t owe you anything you’re being paid to deliver proper service, and this fell far below expectations

Place is so dirty, stained tables that no one wipes, tissues all over the floor.

Coffee taste is consistently good. But do hope the staff will take note of people (doesn't look local) who tabao food in to eat during peak hour. Was there last week, there was a couple whom the lady brought a whole box of Lee Wee brothers rice and eating at the table with her husband, sitting side by side, occupying 4 seats, with 2 seats empty in front of them, while many people were trying to find a seat.
