Just had the waffle with three scoops of gelato at Hey Gelato Joo Chiat and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The waffle was served warm and crispy on the outside, yet fluffy on the inside, creating the perfect contrast against the cold, creamy gelato. The caramel drizzle added just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming. The gelato itself was smooth, rich, and packed with flavour. Each scoop had a velvety texture and wasn’t overly sweet, allowing the ingredients to really shine. The crunchy toppings added a nice bite and complemented the creamy gelato beautifully. The staff there was really kind and outgoing,they were very upselling of the gelatos.Great customer service. What I enjoyed most was how well everything came together — warm waffle, cold gelato, crunchy toppings, and sweet caramel sauce. Every mouthful had a good balance of textures and flavours. If you’re around Joo Chiat and craving dessert, this is definitely worth a visit. Popped by for a quick waffle, with cacao and strawberry balsamic ice cream. Waffle 10/10 super crisp yet soft inside, cacao ice cream 9/10, strawberry ice cream 7/10. The selection of ice cream here is a touch eclectic. While I am a very adventurous person when it comes to food, I like the basics for ice cream. They did warn that the waiting time for the waffle is about 10-15 minutes. No worries; good things take time to crisp up.

Lately this has been my favourite go-to gelato place! such an underrated spot, will never get bored of their unique flavours 😋 Got the Roasted Cacao today, butttt Blue Pea Lavender and Vanilla Himalayan Salt will always be my go-to P.S friendly staff, closes late night during weekends ;)) + bonus: goat coffee spot too

Chanced upon this after catching a movie opp I12 Katong and craved a gelato... Tried Balsamic strawberry, Granny Smith and Ginger and Apple Cinnamon, all flavors were not bad but I did like the Granny Smith one best so got myself a scoop, as it was a premium flavour it was extra so $6.30 a scoop which is pretty ex IMO and scoop was pretty small and deflated (was the last customer so thot id get a lil bit more or at least a round scoop) sigh ah well... They have a silly thing that u cant get 2 scoops coz they only have 1 size of a cup and no cone which is a little bit of a let down coz i really wanted a double scoop cone... All in all not bad but wont be rushing over back coz of the price and lack of cones...

Went down today to Hay Gelato, delicious and you get what you paid for but not forgetting staff (Brayden) was friendly as well. Overall great experienced.

My wife and I got the Jolin’s Jasmine Coffee & Roasted Cacao and it was absolutely delicious 💯🍨. We were so tempted to get the waffle as it smelled amazing, but we were already too full haha. We’ll definitely be back to get the roasted pistachio and another flavour I forgot. Besides the gelatos, the place is absolutely lovely with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you to the joyful and friendly staff.

Was surprised to see Mont Blanc coffee here in a gelato shop. And it's pretty good!
