SKOSH Cafe – Japanese Inspired Onigiri, Sando & Specialty Matcha

Overall an okay place to visit at least once :) We tried Skosh for lunch and dinner as we didn’t realise the handrolls were only a dinner option which we were quite keen on the first time round. We tried the beef stew omelette(?) which was okay and the onigiri was also nothing special. I would say the best thing from the lunch was the mentaiko tater tots 😅 For dinner we tried the mentaiko cauliflower and a range of 5 different handrolls. The only one we felt worth buying again was the tempura ebi surprisingly.

Wanted to try their salmon ochazuke but it's only available before 5pm so I tried their 3-piece handroll set ($12.8 + $2 as I chose wagyu for 1 of them which is premium) and taro matcha latte ($9). It's a bit messy to eat the hand rolls and the hand roll bar seems to be a new concept as they are gathering feedback on it and I was given a mochi cookie for giving feedback and the cookie is quite nice. Overall quality of food and drink is pretty good and there is no service charge and GST. The place is also bright and clean with decent decor :)

Simple menu but well done, especially loved the spicy salmon handrolls that balanced the textures of salmon with a crispier fish skin! They did not skimp on the biscoff latte as well, was such a decadent drink Super grateful for the kind service staff that helped to accommodate my friend’s allergies 😆

Lovely place to drop by for a quick bite! Convenient location, and what we ordered was tasty. Had the sea salt chocolate, white coffee, and mentaiko tater tots. Would recommend a visit!

Love the vibes of the cafe! Easy to spot as it is by the main road. Came for afternoon tea, hence didn’t order the hand rolls. but will come back to try the hand rolls!

Tried the drinks here and service was quick. Especially recommend their sea salt chocolate drink. I hope to come back and try their other specialty drinks.
