My group of four popped in on a weekday for a late afternoon snack after our pickleball game nearby. The cafe was fairly quiet with just a few tables occupied. ​We ordered some sides to share: Mentaiko Fries $14, Cajun Winglets $13, and Brioche & Pudding $12. For my drink, I settled for a hot Hojicha Latte $6.50. The food was fairly standard cafe fare, though we appreciated that the sides were freshly fried upon order. And despite having only one crew member manning the counter, our orders arrived promptly. My Hojicha Latte was unfortunately a tad disappointing. The whisking could have been more thorough, as there were undissolved tea bits left at the bottom. ​On the upside, the ambience is lovely. The place used to be pet-friendly, but pity they no longer allow this due to outdoor space usage issues.

Had the Hot Mama!, Backyard Baby Back, Kids Fishy Chip, along with Vanilla, Milo, Dark Chocolate, and Ube Yam gelatos. Everything was excellent. The standout for me was definitely the Hot Mama! The toast paired perfectly with the soup, and the tangy flavor profile was incredibly well balanced and satisfying. The Backyard Baby Back ribs were fantastic as well! Tender, flavorful, and a big hit with my kids. They also thoroughly enjoyed the Fishy Chip, which was nicely done and very kid-friendly. The gelato selection was on another level. The Ube Yam gelato was especially memorable, so rich, creamy, and perfect for anyone who loves yam flavors. The Milo and Dark Chocolate were great too, with deep, authentic flavors. Overall, an awesome dining experience with great food for both adults and kids. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my time here. The vibe is chill and bright, nice place to just slow down and enjoy a proper meal. Ordered the clam pasta and it was honestly solid. Pasta cooked just right, clams were fresh, and the flavour was simple but done well. Not overly heavy, which I liked. Paired it with a cold Sapporo and that just completed the whole thing. Service was friendly and smooth, no complaints at all. Staff were attentive without being in your face. Overall, a place I’d come back to again. Good food, good atmosphere, easy choice 👍

starting with the ambience, it’s absolutely inviting, cosy and just sets a comfortable atmosphere. the location is still easily accessible by bus from Kovan/Serangoon or even just a few minutes walk. The place is dog friendly! I saw card games as well and there is a toilet too! WIFI also! Oddity cafe really considered their customers really well! the moment we came in, the staff was welcoming & just served us well.. I think even the owners! I The food menu items all looks great & we hope to try the others next time! The desserts were takeaways and they made sure to let me know how I should eat it for the best taste. I truly recommend trying this place out! ⭐️

I was really looking forward to visiting this café. I had saved it in my “starred places” for a while, hoping to try their cute latte art and brunch. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being quite disappointing. When my coffee arrived, the latte art looked very different from the photo shown on the menu. I politely asked the waiter if it might be possible to remake the latte art. The waiter was understanding and apologetic, which I appreciated. However, the response from the manager was simply that “there is nothing wrong with the coffee.” I understand that the manager may have meant the taste was fine. But as someone who doesn’t dine out often, spending about $30 on breakfast is a bit of a treat for me. When paying that amount, I think it’s reasonable to hope the food and drinks at least resemble what is shown on the menu. Even if remaking the coffee wasn’t possible, the situation could have been handled in a much more considerate way. A simple explanation or apology would have gone a long way. Customer service is not just about the product, but also about how concerns are addressed. Overall, disappointing service, disappointing coffee.

Visited this cafe Oddity on 20 Feb 2026 with my family. Ordered some pasta, mains and drinks. - Ocean Inferno, spicy linguine with fresh prawns and clams…delicious! - The Baconara, cooked just right in a rich sauce and plenty of bacon - Mighty Beef Ragu, very tender and tasty - Waygu Cheese Burger, marvellous although a little salty - Hot Latte is served hot and strong The ambience is very grounded and relaxed and chill which lives up to its name Oddity. I would Strongly recommend this place if you want to explore and experience something unique. Bus stop is in front of the cafe… Park at Upper Serangoon Shopping Centre and walk over …

I have never had a worse experience at a cafe before, and I’m not even the type of person to complain about service but whatever I experienced today is absolutely unacceptable. My friend ordered the “Asian Flush”, and it came out looking like “Toilet Flush”. It was watery and the pasta was undercooked, it also looked nothing like other reviews or the picture that they posted on the menu. BTW the manager (bald one) tried to lie to us saying that that’s how the pasta is supposed to look despite reviews looking completely different. He also did not apologise. The pasta was tasteless as well. I ordered the bacon and cheese melt and it took 1 hour to come. The manager had nothing to say to us, not even a sorry and frankly just looked annoyed that we were asking when the food would come.

Nice aesthetic cafe to hang out and enjoy. Spacious and open type seating that would work for small gatherings or seating larger groups of people. Quite a nice range of cafe items to choose from, and though on the higher end of the price range the portions were very filling. We got the Wagyu cheeseburger, Bacon and Cheese sandwich, Hot White, and a couple of other sides. All were delish! Coffee is nice and strong, highly reccomend for those who love their double shots. Will come back to try their waffles. They had an extensive range of gelato which were very tempting.
