Had the most unexpectedly beautiful dinner here after rug shopping on a random Sunday evening. Place was pretty full considering it was a Sunday evening so would suggest making a reservation in advance (though we walked in). Servers were disarmingly welcoming and went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed, including deboning the duck confit and offering a better table when one became available. I was needless to say, duely impressed and had to write this review. But woah when the food came it was also unexpectedly umami and delicious (was expecting a generic cafe experience). Overall 10/10 did not expect a random rug shopping trip to end with a beautiful HTHT date night with a friend.

This cafe way exceeded our expectations, for every single dish that we ordered was FANTASTIC. We ordered the rendang pasta, the signature cacio e pepe fries, barramundi and clams for pasta. And every dish had that surprising burst of flavours that made us go wow with every bite. The barramundi was accompanied by sambal fried rice with wok hei, and the clams pasta reminded me of a dry tsukemen. I usually don’t take fries but the fries here with the cream cloud were so good that I ate a lot of it. Yuzu cream surprisingly balanced the matcha drink well too, and I loved the smoky hojicha taste in the basque cheesecake. However, all the dishes were heavy on the palette, so it is best to go with a bigger group and share them.

ok i get the hype. not cheap but I feel it is decent price/quality ratio. the cacio e pepe fries is damn good - now i can only eat fries done this way 😂 rendang pasta was flavourful too, and al dente - we enjoyed every bit of it. the clams pasta is good too - very umami but a tad too salty for me (personal preference) coffee was good (rich and smooth) too which is always a plus. no reservations on weekends irrc and we waited about 25 mins. service is good too, thanks for taking care of us.

Came here on a weekday morning and it was very quiet. We sat outdoors, wanting to make the most of a beautiful day. It was nice and breezy. The food was generally ok, nothing to shout about - they are more photogenic than they are delicious. The toastie in particular was extremely cloying and salty. I didn’t feel good eating it (both for my tastebuds and for my health), and I felt that it was not worth the calories. My dining partner and I each took 2 bites and then packed it to go, but ended up throwing it away at home to be honest. The corn fritter dish was much better. The matcha drink had no taste of matcha but was pretty. The coffee was much better, I enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable, we paid $86 for 2.

Tried the Wagyu Burger at Cloudfields and it was so good. The patty was really juicy and flavorful, and the whole burger tasted fresh and well put together. Definitely one of the better burgers I’ve had in Singapore. The staff were also really friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere too. ❤️

Aesthetics on point. Price is higher than most cafes but I would assume that if you came here, you're prepared to spend. Cacio E Pepe fries ($18) came beautifully presented and the fries by itself was perfect - hot and crisp exterior with a soft pillowy inside. Would've enjoyed the fries even if it was served just like that! We also got the Einspanner ($9) and Morning Whisper ($8) which was great.

The food was really good quality and the portions were hefty! I tried a few of the crowd favourites, and while everything was good, I personally didn’t find them super memorable. For example, the cacio e pepe fries were delicious, but I didn’t actually care that much for the cacio e pepe flavouring (though I actually personally like cacio e Pepe!). I think I just really liked the fries themselves 😂 Drinks were good too, although unfortunately most of their signatures aren’t lactose-friendly. (But there is oat milk options for the other non signature drinks) I’d still come back, but probably to try the rest of the menu rather than reorder what I’ve already tried

Came here awhile ago. Great food, lovely ambience, and an effortlessly relaxed vibe. We could actually enjoy a proper conversation without having to shout across the table despite the weekend crowd. Food portions were generous and everything we had was delicious, but the cacio e pepe fries was damn shiok. Absolutely to die for.
