food was really expensive and small portion even after getting my cover charge waived. went there wanting to get a small cake for birthday celebration to surprise my friend, i suggested to the restaurant if we could get a writing of a “happy birthday” on the plate and the waiter’s answer to me was, “we not cake bakery bro”. left in disappointment and the food quality wasn’t good despite paying prices averaging $20-$30.

Sorry but this my first negative review on Google. Hate to have to say this but this place has lost the plot. Food is not bad but just about everything else is terrible. Service/organisation is jarring and confusing- QR code for menu but can only order through the waiters (if/when you can get their attention). On the other hand, wine has to be SEPERATELY ordered and paid via a different QR / app, after which the service staff hands you a paper token, and you go to a machine (like in airport lounge) to dispense your glass of wine. Then you find out that a glass in this restaurant is actually just HALF A GLASS (90ml, the machine LCD screen proudly displays it, after you have ordered and paid with the app at the table). Just for context, Google says that a standard measure for a glass of wine is 125-250ml. Then when you are eating and chatting, the staff who we have difficulty catching the attention of, comes to interrupt your meal not once but multiple times to ask if you are done and clear away the dishes. Out of the staff there, we saw only one lady who offered decent service, rest were really not welcoming and simply not serving the customers. Other table had to walk to the serving staff to ask to place their order, after giving up on trying to get their attention. I walked out feeling shortchanged (calling 1/2 glass of wine for 1 glass, small serving sizes) and unwelcomed. Terrible experience. True Cost has truly lost the entire concept of providing value, serving and service. Not many restaurants manage it to hit such a low point on all 3. I am not exaggerating that this is a new low in dining experience for me.

Never coming back to this restaurant again. Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had and what a Mother's Day dinner 2026 experience. We pre-ordered our food specifically to save time, but it was completely pointless. When we arrived, we told the staff to start serving. They said they would start “firing” our order immediately. We waited over 1 hour with nothing. No updates, no apology. After chasing them, only 2 dishes finally came out 15 minutes later, and they were served cold. My daughters paid for the drinks and those 2 inedible dishes and walked out angry, hungry, and feeling totally disrespected as customers. Pre-ordering meant nothing to them. Terrible service, terrible food, terrible management. WE will NEVER return to this restaurant again, and I strongly suggest you avoid it too if you value your time and money. Service: 0/5 Food: 0/5 Value: 0/5

Came in at 7pm and left at 8.30 disappointed and hungry. Drinks took forever to come, service was extremely slow despite there being empty tables, we came in with orders already pre ordered and asked for everything to be sent, only appetisers came out after an hour. Table that sat behind us came in later than us, had around the same pax received their food before us even without pre order. Approached the staff several times, and eventually they came up with a “we thought everything was served already” after the initial “we thought you only wanted the starters first” even though it was explicitly stated that we wanted everything to be served. Needless to say, we left after paying for whatever came at that point and walked out. One of the dishes that came out was the halibut and that came out cold. Not sure about the quality of food safety if this kind of thing can happen. To sum it up, take your business elsewhere.

Very dissapointed with the truffle pasta as reviews shows truffle slices on it, was told that was the old menu. Now it's the same pasta and price but just without the truffle slices. I wasn't informed as well that there was changes. It is quite misleading to encounter such a situation.

Was told to pre-order our food to reduce the waiting time but we ended up waiting over 1.5hrs for our dishes. We left without being served our dishes except for the 3 appetisers, 2 mains and drinks. Questioned the staff on our dishes and they thought we received everything! Which I think they served it to a different table cause a big group table that came way after us got served ALL their dishes. Was told all dishes will be out in 10mins but what was served was a cold halibut and warm pasta. Very poor service. No recovery attempted. No apology was given as well.

The concept sounds appealing — pay an entry fee for lower-priced food — but in reality, it doesn’t always translate into actual savings. Visited as a group & the total worked out to about $48 per person, which is on par with other restaurants in Suntec. Food was ok & nicely presented, while service was attentive & prompt. What stands out is that pricing isn’t consistently “lower”. A pint of draught beer at $12 can easily be matched or beaten by other restaurants & bars nearby, without any entry fee. Without any added experience like live music or entertainment, the entry charge feels harder to justify. Overall, it comes across more like a normal-priced restaurant with a clever pricing concept, rather than a true “cost price” dining experience.

Unexpectedly good. Was here for Mother’s day lunch on Sunday 12pm they had just opened and the place was rather empty. even tho it was early in the day the service staff was very welcoming and passionate with the recommendations. The eggplant is a must try, even those that don’t eat eggplant regularly loved it, because it was fried, paired with the cream cheese was *insert chef kisses* It’s just that pricing is slightly on the high side but i guess it’s pretty worth it.
