I didn't manage to get a seat the last time I was here in the evening but I'm glad to be able to this time 😋 come between 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm if you don't want to face long queues and a lack of seats We ordered the striploin steak as well as the fish and chips and the beef bolognese The striploin steak was served medium rare and seasoned perfectly The fish and chips impressed me the most with it's batter being crispy yet light and the fish being well seasoned and chunky. Having it with their tartare sauce is a must Can't go wrong with the beef bolognese too being a hearty comfort food for all occasions

We have heard good reviews from our friends and decided to try out for dinner tonight. We ordered pork steak, sirloin steak and ribeye steak. Fortunately we didn't have to wait long for our foods to arrive, even though there were many people in the coffee shop. The pork steak was nicely cooked with slight pinkish in the centre and tasted deliciously tender. The sirloin steak was slightly overcooked to medium well though we asked for medium. The ribeye steak was perfectly medium done and was very juicy. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and we will come back and try out their premium cuts in future.

Came here for dinner on a weekday, was decently crowded at around 6.30pm. Ordered a Striploin, Pork Steak and Fish & Chips. Striploin was seasoned well, with a solid crust and juicy meat when cut into. Might have just been a tad over, but did not affect the flavour. Pork steak was excellent, with surprisingly tender pork meat, contrasted with the apple strips. However, the bed of mash potatoes and beans spoiled the dish slightly, as the mash was unseasoned and tasted powdery, and the beans did not add much value to the overall dish. Fish and chips featured two big pieces of fish and a generous side of fries. Batter was on the heavier side, and though fried well, might have overpowered the fish, which made for a slightly jarring composition. Nevertheless, a huge shoutout to the fries, which I must say are one of the best I’ve tasted. Super crispy, fried perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. Totally worth a side on its own. Overall decent experience for a coffeeshop western food, prices are slightly on the higher end but still manageable.

Came here a few months back for a casual meal with a friend. Arrived at 5.30 pm before the crowd came. I ordered a pork steak served with mashed potatoes and long beans. The pork was well done, quite juicy, however I couldn't finish the mashed potatoes as I have a pretty small appetite. We also had some onion rings, potato wedges and chicken wings to share. I would come back again to try other meat items but avoid the peak hours as it gets very crowded nearer to meal times and can be hard to find a seat. This place does not accept reservations so you would need to come earlier.

When I was first introduced to this place in 2017, first impressions of the food were great and it stayed that way over the years which was apparent during peak hours where snaking queues forced me to visit during off peak periods instead but I didn’t mind as long as I could satisfy my cravings however after many months I came back here again and the first thing I realised was the snaking queues were gone, on a Saturday at 12pm which should’ve been the first sign but I thought I was just lucky. However, the food came and when I cut the steak open and I realised why… even though i ordered medium rare and it did come pink in the middle, I just cannot figure out why it tastes so dry. The salmon was also equally dry however the mushroom soup remained the same standard as it always did. Maybe today was an exception but personally I would not be patronising again. We will be back! Friendly and attentive service. 5 out of 5 stars! Perfect pull for draft beer served in a tall chilled glass. Proper onion rings! T-bone lamb, medium. 4 out of 5 stars. Done perfectly. Pork steak. 4 out of 5 stars. So tender and juicy on a generous amount of mash. Fish and chips, 3 out of 5 stars. Dory. Gotta manage expectations.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s located inside a coffee shop, this place serves genuinely quality food. I ordered the pork steak and was pleasantly surprised. It was juicy, tender, and nicely seasoned, cooked just right. The mashed potatoes added a smooth, comforting texture that paired really well with the pork and made the meal more satisfying. The greens on the side were a nice touch too, balancing out the dish and completing the whole plate. Definitely something I’d order again. Highly recommended!
