I had dinner here with a couple of friends and we had a great time. We came for the crab, so we ordered the classic chilli crab and black pepper crab. Both were super fresh and packed with meat. The chilli crab was my favorite, though. The sauce was just the right mix of sweet and spicy, and dipping the mantou in it was honestly the best part. The black pepper crab was tasty too, with a good pepper kick that wasn’t too much. One thing I liked was how ready the restaurant was for crab. They gave us gloves, aprons, and all the right tools, so it wasn’t messy at all. The staff were super friendly and helpful the whole time. It really felt like a real Singapore food experience, not just a spot for tourists. If you’re in Singapore and you love seafood, you should check this place out.

Back here after a big craving for huge fresh Sri Lankan crab. Wow, they have up their service game: luggage racks for tourists, coat rack offered when my wife was wearing her office jacket, fresh durians for the China Chinese…etc. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the White Pepper crab, their signature dish. The crab was very fresh but the white pepper sauce was lacking. It used to be a lot so we can order the fried Chinese buns to soak it up. Now, it was bare minimal. We also ordered the Mee Goreng. I loved their version: the mix of ketchup and chilli sauce was just nice, neither overpowering each other. The accompanying seafood was cooked to perfection. Best eaten with chilli padi. Would have appreciate them putting in the weight of the crab in the receipt during payment. We had forgotten to ask the price per kg for the crab.

I went there today because I wanted to eat some delicious food. It's a famous restaurant that originated white pepper crab. The chili crab is, of course, delicious, but the other dishes are also superb. It's great to have a lively time there with beer. The fried rice is especially delicious! The seasoning is strong, yet it's moist. However, the prices are a little on the higher side, but you receive service that is well worth it. There are many tables in the spacious restaurant. There is a smoking area near the entrance. The hospitality of the staff is especially wonderful 👍

I came here on a taxi driver's recommendation. The black pepper crab is spicy and delicious. The stir-fried vegetables are also all good. However, the downsides are that the service is slow and the place is chaotic. Also, they recommend the expensive Alaskan crab, but the Sri Lankan crab is also quite tasty.

S$379 - A Lesson Learned: No Signboard, Probably No Honesty. I just tried Jumbo the day before yesterday, and today I wanted to try something different at No Signboard. Turns out, a total rip-off! I spent S$379. The ambiance was so-so, just a typical street food stall. The food was mediocre; the crab had a very fishy taste, which is common with frozen crab. The service was average. The most unacceptable thing was the lack of transparency regarding seafood weights: a short-haired waitress took our order and immediately said a tiny crab was 1kg, while a small fish, clearly less than 6 taels, was insisted to be 1 jin. Being overcharged isn't the worst thing; it's being cheated. Shortchanging customers shows a complete lack of integrity. The staff ruined their own reputation. I sincerely do not recommend this restaurant. 👎 S$379 - A Lesson Learned: No Signboard, Probably No Honesty. I visited the Esplanade branch on April 3, 2019. I was staying at Marina Bay Sands at the time, and it was near the Merlion site with great bay views and atmosphere. However, it has since closed, leaving only the main branch in Geylang. Therefore, my review will focus on the food itself. The cereal prawns and white pepper crab were the restaurant's signature dishes at the time, and they were indeed visually appealing, with elegant plating enhancing the dining experience. However, I found the taste to be just average. Being Taiwanese, I know there are many similar dishes in Taiwan, and the price was quite high – over 130 Singapore dollars for a serving of white pepper crab (less than a third of the price in Taiwan). There are many other options available, and while the view was appealing, it was acceptable. Otherwise, it might be a different story. To be fair, the staff were generally very friendly and friendly, maintaining a good reputation locally. The restaurant seems to have built a certain reputation, so it wasn't a disappointment, but it wasn't particularly amazing either.

A local friend pointed me to No Signboard Seafood at Geylang for chilli crab, and it was a really solid choice. The seafood felt fresh, the flavors were strong without being overwhelming, and the bill was more reasonable than I expected for this kind of meal. I’d happily go back again.

I got some fried rice noodles to go around 11 pm, and they were burnt. I don't know if it was Indian rice noodles or something else. I was very disappointed, and it wasn't cheap either.
