Overall, Crystal Jade's dim sum feels very fresh and generously portioned. Especially the prawn dishes; the prawns are plump, crunchy, and fresh. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and many of the dim sum skins are also very thin, making the overall texture nicer. The har gow was one of the nicer dishes. The skin was thin and soft, while the prawns inside were naturally sweet and juicy. It didn't have that frozen prawn taste at all. The siew mai was also very well-packed with ingredients and quite filling. One piece actually felt quite substantial. The shrimp dumplings were also a pretty good dish. The skin was thin and smooth, and the shrimp inside was very fresh and sweet, with no frozen shrimp taste. The siu mai was also quite substantial, with plenty of filling; each one was quite weighty. The chee cheong fun was smooth and silky, and the sauce paired quite nicely with it. The filling inside was also generous, so it didn't feel empty when eating it. The fried beancurd skin roll was crispy on the outside but still juicy on the inside, which I personally enjoyed a lot. The rice noodle rolls were also well done; the skin was smooth and soft, and the overall flavor was well-balanced with the soy sauce. The overall taste felt milder and lacked a bit of punch, so for me, it was just okay. As for the xiao long bao, personally, I felt it was rather ordinary. Its skin was indeed thin, which was good, but the soup inside wasn't particularly flavorful, nor did it have that rich, pungent taste. It lacked the intense, savory flavor of broth and meat that I experienced when I first bit into xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) in Shanghai, so it was just average for me, nothing particularly amazing. One surprising dish for me was the crystal dumpling. The skin was chewy and slightly QQ (a type of chewy texture), while the filling inside was generous and had quite a nice texture combination. It looked simple but actually tasted better than expected. The crystal ball dim sum was a pleasant surprise. The outer skin was QQ and chewy, and the filling was plentiful, creating a rich and layered texture. It looked ordinary, but tasted surprisingly good. Overall, Crystal Jade’s dim sum feels more like a stable and traditional Cantonese dim sum experience. The food is fresh, portions are decent, and the overall dining experience is comfortable. It’s not a very trendy or modern-style dim sum place, but it’s definitely a reliable option for family gatherings and larger group meals. Nice place for a meal. Food was good and service was friendly. Price is a little on the high side though. 😊

Celebrated a friend's birthday at Crystal Jade Pavilion (VivoCity) yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, with the Peking duck, roasted pork and mango sago dessert being absolute highlights. The restaurant has a fantastic vibe but what truly elevated our afternoon was the service. A huge thank you to Michael, Weng, and the team for making our celebration so special with their attentiveness and meticulous attention to detail. Keep up the amazing work!

First time trying the Peking duck here at VivoCity. The dim sum was quite good although some of the ala carte dishes can be quite pricey. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Just one bald Chinese male staff was a bit rude when I asked whether the Peking duck came with any side dishes. He could have explained nicely that we can add on things like rice or noodles instead of just being quite dismissive. The interior also can improve a bit. The place feels quite dated and not very welcoming. Food was decent, especially the dim sum. Service was mostly good, but hopefully they can improve on the little things and make the overall experience better.

Tried the National Day specials which were something different from the normal Crystal Jade menu. The vermicelli was generous in portion, can serve 3 people if you aren't Zermatt Neo. Crystal Jade has always been able to maintain its food quality. What makes this outlet stand out amongst the other outlets is definitely the service! Impressive service by the ever patient Mr Ho, cheery Ms Bobo and attentive Ms Wei Ling. They even kept the food for us to pick up later (in the evening) so that we need not bring them along into the island and can enjoy the island activities. The most beautiful scenery is the service crew, more so than the lovely Sentosa scenery. Thank you so much!

wonderful restaurant with a good scenic view..very child friendly. great food - i love the eefu noodles, peking duck..and above all the staff were really lovely, kind and attentive...especially with my child ! highly recommended for large groups too ! try the claypot san bei chicken, whitebait and lobster eefu!!!

I came with friends today. Before Chinese New Year, various companies are having employee parties. It was quite noisy, and I felt the food wasn't as good as before, and several menu items are no longer available. It's a shame I didn't get to try them. Overall, it was okay.
