Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao

DO NOT order the fried mixed grain rice in hot pot. Maybe the other food is better. Description was so nice talking about the mushrooms and assorted vegetables. It’s actually just brown & white rice, corn and white bait. Only corn as vegetable (maybe they considered the peanut as veg) and no mushrooms. I didn’t realised I was short changed until the end of the meal, I had to recheck the menu and then I spoke to them and the guy insisted the mushroom must be chopped finely. (Dude, I did not taste any mushroom) Good thing I took a photo and even with the photo evidence he was only quick to usher the bill for me to pay. Good atmosphere because the place is quite empty. Now you know why

Popular restaurant in a very busy mall! While waiting we were able to watch some action in the galley 😆 Food was delicious and we particularly enjoyed the La Mian (cooked just right) with braised beef (almost melted in mouth). Service was good. Serving staff kept asking if everything was okay, possibly because I had a small child with me, but nonetheless, they were warm.

Had little to no queue on mother’s day. Did not regret coming here instead of Nainai Flavor which had a long long queue. Fabulous signature dishes. Tasty xiaolongbaos, koshuiji mian was great. The veg too. Was compensated with a desert for being asked to change seats due to their error. They are good with their chicken dishes. Enjoy ourselves!

Food is pretty good here. And it's served really quite fast. Favourite is the drunken chicken appetiser really nicely infused with herbal wine. The prawn fritters were also very good crispy outside and fresh inside maybe just a tad greasy. Quite surprised that they have grilled fish here and the one we had was quite good with enough punch and the fish was fresh and big sized. Service was ok and they do accept reservation which is good.

Had a Mother’s Day meal here. The food was delicious, and although it was very busy, the service was still good.

food was nice, small serving sizes and high prices. service didnt match the prices either, had to call someone over to take our order. nothing was complementary, no water, no rice, not even the napkins, had to pay for everything.

I just love their small bowl chicken noodles 🫶🏻 the broth taste so tasty and thick. But if you don’t like overcooked or soft noodles, you probably won’t like it. Me personally love it, the taste just so comforting. (Sorry I didn’t take a pic🫠)
