Definitely one of my favorite hawkers! Hawkers can be a hit and miss and this one is rock solid. I don’t speak mandarin but they’re always friendly to me. $4 for two choices $5 for three choices $15 for three choices including a large piece of Salmon. I like the eggplant, sweet and sour chicken, stir fry pork, broccoli 🥦 and the rice is fresh as it has high turnover. I think they are closed on Wednesdays. And the soya stall next door is awesome too

Xing Long Cooked Food is a humble hawker stall that delivers comforting, no-frills local dishes at wallet-friendly prices. The queue moves quickly, a testament to its efficient service and consistent quality. Their signature dishes are hearty and satisfying, with well-balanced flavours that lean toward the traditional side. Portions are generous, making it a reliable spot for a filling meal. Ingredients taste fresh, and the cooking carries that familiar home-style touch many crave. It may not be flashy, but Xing Long stands out for its dependability and honest flavours, making it a regular go-to for nearby residents and hawker lovers alike.

$7.50 for this plate. Tastes like my grandma’s cooking. I really like it. I’ve tried many caifan in various coffee shops, and like this the most. The moment I put the curry sauce with rice in my mouth, I could taste how fragrant the curry is :) the spinach was cooked nicely, not overly fibrous. The potato with luncheon meat tasted like home. The battered prawns were expensive ($2 each), but seeing that I can’t replicate what my grandma used to make, I’m happy to pay for this. A perpetual queue but service is very prompt and efficient :)

Ordered from here once before, but this is the last time I'm buying from them. I was told the price for just a measly 4 dishes was $7 then she corrected herself and told me the price was $8? At that price, I would have bought something more substantial from another stall. Even the western stall nearby was selling their chops for $8.

Cai png also known as economic rice is something every hawker, coffeeshop, industrial canteen will have. Do you have a favorite? Well I certainly do. Located at Marine Parade hawker center, this is my favourite stall. Right at the corner of the hawker, it will make people travel all around singapore to eat this cai png. Some may argue that it’s expensive, but i feel it’s worth it. Every dish on my plate is delicious.

Although it’s on the pricier side for mixed vegetable rice, it tastes very much like a home-cooked meal. It’s quite different from the usual franchised economy rice stalls. The dishes are well-seasoned without being overly salty or oily, and the portions are generous. A plate with three simple dishes can easily cost around $6–$8, but in my opinion, it’s worth paying a little more for the quality. 😊 Whenever I’m in the area, I always make it a point to eat here!

(Most of their) food prices are clearly listed. You’d have to ask for the usual suspects like fish. Queue time during peak lunch time can be slow, despite complaints of high prices & lacklustre dishes. I’d queue again only if I have the time; none of the dishes were memorable
