Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice is an absolute classic in Singapore and, for many, one of the best examples of authentic street food in the country. I really enjoyed it there. The chicken is incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and served with flavorful rice that's not just a side dish. The typical sauces complete the meal perfectly. It all seems very simple, but that's precisely what makes it so good. What particularly struck me was the authentic and vibrant atmosphere at the Maxwell Food Centre. You sit right among locals and tourists; everything is quick, direct, and uncomplicated—exactly what you imagine real hawker food in Singapore to be. The people there were also very friendly, despite the crowds. The value for money is truly unbeatable. For relatively little money, you get one of Singapore's most famous specialties of very high quality. No wonder this stall is known worldwide and was even mentioned by Anthony Bourdain—I assume you mean him when you say "Antoine Bordeaux." Overall, Tian Tian is an absolute must-try in Singapore. If you're in the city, you should definitely try it – it's simple, authentic, and one of the best street food experiences ever.
