The hawker-centre-priced Chicken Rice that will bring Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice to shame! S$3.50 for a plate of chicken rice, $4 for drumstick/thighs. It is very cheap! I first ate this chicken rice about 10 years ago, without knowing it was a famous chicken rice that our beloved LKY used to love. I ate again today and I know why - chicken is very tender but without loosing its elastic/Q-ness. Chicken gravy (oyster sauce) was made to the right savoury taste without being too salty. The rice is highly fragrant without being too oily. I think the boss is a hokkien because the soup they provide resembles pig stomach soup - nice peppery taste that warms your stomach. Chilli provided was quite spicy with a tint of calamansi fragrant - I think alot of people will love his chilli! The 'azhar' provided with every meal cleanse your mouth and makes your feel hungry for a second plate! Definitely hands-down FIVE STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Chicken Rice!! Highly Recommended! 100% sure you won't be disappointed!

This is my third time eating here. My sister said they open at 11 am, sell for 2-3 hours, and then close, and it's never an exaggeration. Every time I come, there's always a long queue. In no time at all, they're left with only chicken necks hanging on display. I brought my friends to buy soccer jerseys in the Queensway area, so I took them to this Michelin-awarded Hainanese chicken rice place. It's super cheap, a set for $3.50, with an extra bowl of rice for $0.50. The chicken is tender and juicy, the rice is fragrant and delicious, and the hot, fragrant soup is also delicious. Everyone loved it. If you're in the area, stop by and try it. The rice and chicken are served separately, not piled on top. The queue is long, but the wait isn't too long because the people are friendly.

Good Hainanese boiled chicken rice. Unless I’m in the area, I wouldn’t journey all the way though. With their multi-year Michelin Bib Gourmand awards, expect long queues. Prices start from $3.50 for a 1-person portion, served with slices of tomato & cucumber, & some ‘achar’ (local pickles). Rice was aromatic. Soup had savoury chicken essence. Chilli dip has a spicy punch, pair with ginger sauce; thick soy sauce available too.

Love the chicken rice. Rice is fragrant, chicken is smooth and the price is good. Loved the availability of fresh ginger which goes well with the black sauce. Added the gizzard and heart and it came up to $5. Love the service. Keep up the good work! Payment by Paynow or cash. Do note that queue can be long during peak hours.

Michelin-Recommended Quality Guarantee Chicken: The boneless chicken is tender and smooth in texture, and can be enjoyed with a drizzle of mildly sweet soy sauce. Cuts are mostly from the breast or thigh. Rice: The rice grains are fluffy and well-separated, not greasy, with a light chicken oil aroma. It tastes clean and refreshing. Downside: The portion is relatively small, making it more suitable for those with a lighter appetite.

Most deserving of their Michelin Star.

Popular chicken rice stall with queue forming before it starts operating in the morning. Michelin bib gourmand stickers on its stall for 2023-2025. Decided to try its chicken drumstick rice. Chicken is tender and rice is fragrant. Servicing size smaller than expected but it’s only $4 - value for money. Service is good though slightly slow so expect a queue.

Above average chicken rice, but nothing life-changing. The soup though, was surprisingly tasty. Another special callout was to its affordable price!
