Visited on a weekday 7pm and the eatery was quite busy but managed to get last table for 3 pax. We ordered Beef noodles soup, fish slices soup and dry tossed shredded chix handmade noodles. Unfortunately the food execution was medicroe and coupled with warm air circulation inside, we did not enjoy the noodles much. So though quite affordable inside Jurong point, we would not recommend and please eat some other eateries here.

Trying this place today 😍 Wontons! They practically slid right into my mouth with one slurp—the texture is so smooth 💕! The new Tom Yum flavor 🤩 is sweet, not too pungent. The Zha Jiang Re Gan Mian (hot dry noodles with soybean paste) 👍 is also delicious! The best part is the radish and pickled mustard greens mixed in—so refreshing and crunchy, with the aroma of 😋 sesame paste! #singapore #foodie #bestfood #noodle #tomato

It’s warm here but the food made up for it. The noodles are flavourful and the taste of the beef and the tripe are excellent. The noodles are springy like hand pulled feeling and the chilli wonton is very soft and again well flavoured. The brown sugar mochi was also springy and soft. Prices are very reasonable. Much better than those ippudo ramen which like for a few pieces of char siew cost an arm and leg.

Dropped by Cai Lin Ji on a weekend around 11:30am, and surprisingly, the place was completely empty—which made me a little hesitant at first. But by 12:30pm, it started to fill up, so I guess we just beat the lunch crowd. The store itself is small and cozy, nothing fancy. Tried a variety of dishes: Zha Jiang Hot Dry Noodles: This was decent, not overly salty and had a nice savory punch to it. Xiang Yang Beef Noodles: The soup was flavourful and comforting—definitely one of the better items on the menu. Three Delicacies Dou Pi: Personally didn’t enjoy this one—it was way too oily for my liking. Signature Lotus Pork Rib Soup: This was probably the best dish of the lot. Rich, fragrant, and not overly greasy. Xiao Long Bao: The soup inside was alright, but the skin was too thick, which kind of ruined the experience. Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cakes: These were not overly sweet, which I liked, but again, too oily—would’ve been much better if they had drained the oil properly. Beef Skewers: Honestly, this was pretty bad. The meat was tough, not hot, and lacked cumin flavor. Felt like an afterthought. Overall, Cai Lin Ji is a relatively decent spot if you’re craving Chinese food. Some hits, some misses, but I’d still give it another shot in the future.

Came on a weekend for lunch, was served to our seats promptly. Ordering is via QR code. Must order: 1. 口水鸡 - this is by far one of the best KSJ I’ve had. The cut of chicken is really thick and there isn’t skin. The sauce also matches really well with the peanut and cucumber! 2. tomato crispy pork beehoon - the soup is like a thick version of the tomato soup in HDL. The pork had more flour to it but matched so well with the soup. Noodle wise is thick beehoon but I would prefer the 拉面 they use for their other noodle dishes 3. Sour plum drink - funny story, the picture in the menu was a bowl of sourplum drink so we expected it to be served that way but was pleasantly surprised it came in a plastic cup 😂 nonetheless, a good drink 4. 炸酱面 - sauce was great and I LOVE THE NOODLES (amazing bite) The alright: 1. Dou pi - pretty unique, I was expecting some Beancurd skin thing but it ended up being egg crepe with glutinous rice. Was a tad full by the time I had this dish so I couldn’t quite appreciate it. 2. Shrimp/ Beef & Tripe Hot Dry Noodle - the noodles are great but somehow these 2 dishes had a powdery soy kind of flavour which I wasn’t a fan of 3. Dumplings - what you expect of a normal XLB Will be back to have the 口水鸡 and try other things in the menu!

Saw this newly opening less than 3 months eatery from a foodie's video. Got my friend who is staying nearby to dine-in at tgis eatery. Luckily I insisted to try at this eatery. Turned to be delicious for every dish that we have ordered. Especially the glutinous rice, shall to be my all time fave. Looking forward of their 2nd outlet opening up at Tanjong Pagar on next year 2024. Already passed by since, hopefully the rest of dishes will be available by then. Latest updates : went back again for the glutinous rice, standard dropped. As for the new dish finally has launched, so-so to me.

Decided to have lunch in Jurong Point since I’m coming here to run errands and this is a place I’ve pinned for quite some time. Initially wanted to try their dry noodles but changed my mind when in the restaurant cos they are having a promo for the Beef Soup Noodle. It’s isn’t exactly soup cos it is very thick. Reviews online is refering it as a meat paste kind of gravy. Not that it isn’t nice, just that I have a lil regret when I smell the fragrant dry noodles of next table. As for the rice wine dessert, still lacking some oomph. I wonder if thickening powder is added into it.

Very cramp seats. Zha jiang mian (noodle) is nice , but xiao su rou (deep fried pork) seems like more flour and very hard to chew. Xiao long bao skin quite thick. Deep fried milk snack has quite a strong oily taste and milk inside not much taste. The san xian dou pi does not have beancurd skin, but has glutinous rice below a layer of egg crepe like that. Appetizer dishes, I dont know how to appreciate. I feel this place more suitable for authentic chinese. They can have the feel of home when they eat, as I see alot of chinese visiting although it is not lunch/dinner time.
