if you’re craving authentic taiwanese comfort food that hits all the right spots, this is the place to be. perfect for family gatherings with a massive menu ranging from street snacks to comforting noodle soups and stir-fried dishes! 三杯鸡腿肉 three cup chicken ($16.40) absolutely tender (嫩) chicken drenched in a deeply aromatic, savory-sweet braise loaded with chilli, ginger, and garlic. may i add, came sizzlingly hot 虾米炒韭菜花 stir-fried cabbage w/ dried shrimp ($8.30) i love ordering cabbage dishes for chinese meals. crisp, naturally sweet cabbage tossed with savory dried shrimp for that extra umami kick 🥬 糖醋豆包 sweet & sour beancurd parcels ($10.90) super crunchy on the outside with a wonderful bite, coated in a zesty, addictive sweet and sour glaze. adds a good crunch to the whole meal their drinks rly defy my expectations too, i got the taro ball milk tea and roselle tea!

FOOD 1. saltier pork intestines compared with pork chop is prepared with more saltiness in advanced, 2. SERVICE assigned young lady at door doesn't care about customer experience, after making payment, as I am walking toward the door, with door half open, she simply don't bother to provide some assistance to hold onto the door, as I am using the walking stick + personal mobility scooter.

This restaurant serves Taiwanese dishes like oyster mee sua, braised pork rice, meatball soup, and even popiah ice cream for dessert. Food is tasty and authentic. We ate here many times. Special shoutout for their guan miao mian, tempura and di huang miao, it’s a must-order dishes for us. Tried their deep fried seabass w salt/pepper, very yummy. Will be coming back soon.

Really enjoyed the food here! The Lor Bak Rice and fried rice were both really delicious. Personally, I think the fried rice is even better than Din Tai Fung! The staff were also very friendly, polite and attentive. Overall, a great dining experience. Will definitely come back again! 五星好评！

This is hands down some of the most authentic Taiwanese food I’ve had in Singapore! It instantly took me back to my trip to Taiwan earlier this year. We reserved a table for a large group of 12 during the lunch rush, and the service was still incredibly fast and friendly. I ordered the Lu Rou Fan and Taiwanese sausage, which were absolutely delicious and tasted just like the real deal. The portions are generous, the price point is very affordable, and the iced wintermelon tea totally hit the spot. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Nice spot with a relaxed night market vibe, cosy and easy to settle into. We normally frequent the Woodlands outlet, but this Yishun branch is more convenient for us and has a slightly cosier feel — good to have both options depending on where we are. Had the Tainan danzai noodles with Guan Miao noodles, which were nicely springy and held up well in the broth. The braised pork rice was simple and satisfying alongside the salt pepper chicken & tempura ~ The Yilan peanut ice cream roll was the highlight & my personal favourite - peanut is shaved fresh upon order and layered quite generously over the ice cream, giving a good mix of cold and nutty in every bite. Overall, a reliable Taiwanese fix.

Pretty decent taiwanese cuisine. Chicken cutlet is nice thin batter and moist. Seabass at $21.80 also quite a steal. Whole team is very friendly and efficient.

Ah Zhong Mian Xian (阿宗麵線) - Northpoint City Donkey and I were cycling from Punggol towards Yishun this evening and decided to stop at Northpoint City for dinner. After looking through the various eateries in the basement we were drawn to this establishment because they feature Ah Zhong Mian Xian. The name brought back fond memories of our travels in Taiwan. We were curious if this was a direct branch of the original shop in Taiwan but upon speaking with the staff we learned the head chef completed his apprenticeship there. He has since brought those specialised culinary techniques to Singapore and the authenticity is clear in every dish. The service we received was exemplary. The floor staff were proactive and attentive and even helped us find a suitable spot to park our bicycles. Throughout our meal they were observant and prompt attending to our table for drink top ups and making sure all our needs were met without us having to ask. We tried several dishes during our visit. - Signature Mee Sua: This came piping hot. I found the authentic flavour of the intestines slightly overwhelming but Donkey thought they were meticulously cleaned and well prepared. It is not an exact copy of the Taiwan original but it is an impressively close tribute. - Braised Meat Rice: A classic dish executed beautifully with a rich savoury finish. - Deep Fried Sea Bass with Garlic: We noticed a neighbouring table enjoying this dish and asked for their opinion. They said it was worth trying and they were correct. The fish was seasoned perfectly with sea salt and garlic then deep fried until wonderfully crispy. I was full of praise for it and has already said she will return specifically for this dish. - Refreshments: The Black Sugar Winter Melon Tea was refreshing and not overly sweet. I commented that the Taro Ball Milk Tea was excellent especially the QQ chewy texture of the taro balls. Given the restaurant is located in a major shopping centre we found the pricing very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes provided. It is a fantastic spot for authentic Taiwanese comfort food paired with some of the best service we have experienced in the area. We will certainly be returning after our future rides.
