Huang Tu Di Xi'an Delights

I recently visited this establishment and ordered the Biang Biang noodles along with a meat bun. Regarding the food, the portions are notably generous and offer excellent value for the price, making it a budget-friendly option for those with a large appetite. Both items were filling and served in a timely manner. However, the experience was notably impacted by the service provided by the staff. Throughout my visit, the level of communication was extremely limited. Even when I engaged in necessary, minimal dialogue for ordering, the staff members did not provide any verbal or non-verbal acknowledgement. It was often difficult to determine if they had heard or understood my requests, as there were no responses or even brief eye contact provided during our interaction. While the cost-performance of the meal is high, the lack of basic hospitality and responsiveness from the team makes for a less than welcoming environment. It is a suitable spot if you prioritize food volume and pricing over the quality of service.

Tried Huang Tu Di Xi’An Delights for the first time and was really impressed! The flavors were bold, aromatic, and felt truly authentic to Shaanxi cuisine. Their biang biang noodles were hand-pulled to perfection—chewy with a satisfying bite—and the chili oil had just the right amount of heat without overpowering the dish. The lamb skewers were also a highlight—juicy, smoky, and well-seasoned. Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable for the quality you get. The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the menu, which is great if you’re new to Xi’An food. Definitely a hidden gem if you’re craving something different from the usual. Highly recommended for noodle and spice lovers!

I ordered 4 in 1 biang biang noodle and one rou jia mo. The noodle were really chewy and thick, tgt with the sauce, it was amazing. The portion was also good and the meat was quite generous. However, the chili could be spicier as although we added spice, it wasn't spicy. The rou jia mo was also good, the meat was really flavorful. Although the bread is on the dryer side, it is still good! I would definitely come again!

5 stars for the food! Flavour was on point and the chicken was tender. Noodles were chewy and really good after soaking up the sauce. Oil spilled noodles were good too. Fatty meat in Rou jia mo melted in my mouth. Delicious!

Food is good, service can be very bad. Had days where they missed an order, and despite acknowledging it, they will still take beyond 30 minutes to serve it. Not sure what's their protocol. I see many bowls still being served while I'm waiting for a missed order. My whole family has eaten and I'm still waiting.

Best Xi’an noodle restaurant I know of in Singapore. Love their biangbiang noodle. Their 肉夹馍 is also totally legit. Very authentic. Totally worth the trip to Clementi 321 if you are craving 肉夹馍. Recommended. Avoid their 粉 though. Seems pre-cooked and not nice at all.

The food was alright. The roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) was passable, but not crispy enough; the meat was mostly lean and juicy, but not very flavorful. The noodles were good and quite chewy. What really annoyed me was that although there were plenty of empty seats, they wouldn't let me sit at a bright table against the wall and forced me to sit at a single table. Also, I still had a lot of noodles in my bowl, and a waiter came over to ask if I wanted them cleared away just because I stopped to look at my phone for a moment. It's worth mentioning that both incidents happened with the same waiter. Was this service attitude meant to get rid of me?
