Ordered the most popular rougamo with pork, cucumber cubes and soyabean drink. The counter staff was polite and friendly and service was fast as it was late afternoon. Overall taste is good (bread is crispy and fresh) and the place for dine in is clean and neat with ample seats. Didn't try the noodles as not feeling that hungry. Pricing is a bit high for a fast food joint($4.90 for a plate of cucumber).

skip the burger and try rougamo. This place is always busy for a good reason . Their specialty is the rougamo which is meat sandwiched in bread , but that description really undersells it. It’s like a croissant sandwich with a filling of pulled meat and gravy . I was hooked from the first bite . the qinji pork rougamo variant stood out for its robust flavor and crispy exterior that added a wonderful texture. For just SGD $5.80 , it’s a steal ! However, I did notice it was a bit oily and juicy , so perhaps pairing it with some refreshing drink like (grass jelly milk tea) would balance it out nicely . the braised pork cubes are sensational and succulent and definitely not dry and tough . Spices added to fillings are subtle so it balances well . It is a perfect marriage of both dough and meat fillings that I strongly recommended . ❤️ I love this place so much ! Will come back again and again !!

A First-Timer’s Mixed Experience at a Chinese Eatery Drawn in by its inviting signboard and curious about its Chinese menu, I stepped into this eatery with cautious optimism. As someone unfamiliar with Chinese (China) cuisine, I decided to take a gamble and try two dishes: the Rice Noodle with Fatty Beef Slice Bean Sauce (酱烧肥牛米线) and the Qin Ji Pork Rougamo (秦记肉夹馍). The noodle dish arrived promptly. Visually, it looked standard—a bowl of broth with noodles, beef slices, and a hint of bean sauce. The broth carried the familiar mala (麻辣) kick—numbing and spicy—but the bean sauce flavor felt disappointingly faint. While the noodles themselves were a highlight (delightfully springy and chewy), the beef was thinly sliced and sparse, leaving me questioning the value for money. The star of the meal, however, was the Pork Rougamo. Crispy, flaky pastry encased tender, well-seasoned pork with a subtle kick from green peppers. Served piping hot, each bite was a satisfying crunch followed by savory, juicy flavors. It’s easy to see why this is their signature dish! As for the ambiance, the setup resembles a fast-food joint, so I kept my service expectations low. That said, a friendly staff member (of Indian ethnicity) stood out—she efficiently cleared tables and maintained cleanliness, contributing to the tidy dining space. Final thoughts: While the noodles left me underwhelmed, the Rougamo alone makes this spot worth revisiting. A solid choice for a quick, flavorful bite, especially if you prioritize texture and bold fillings over elaborate service.

“China rising!” 🇨🇳 💫 That’s the chant my foodie friends would tell me if I mentioned that I had Qin Ji spicy and sour potato noodles and their signature pork baked bun. The food is surprisingly delicious! The baked bun is not as oily as the typical ones that you get from the Chinese eateries. I’m refraining myself from finishing the super oily yet flavourful soup. Will I be back to Qin Ji again? Maybe yes, cos there’s a 50% discount when you order another set meal! #tiramisoooo #tramisoooojiaks #jiakjiakjiak #qinjirougamo #clementimall #chinarising

First time visiting this outlet. Was very impressed with the counter service! The biased beef rice noodles and chicken Rougamo were nice, and I like the grass jelly milk tea too! Thanks! 😄 👍

Went there to tabao food. It was already 2pm. The counter staff maxed out. Lots of food on the counter and people waiting. I think they forgot to add the minced meat in my noodle

Nice Chinese food. Like the 肉夹馍 (meat sandwich) and 脸皮(cold noodle) with soya milk drink set meal. Not too expensive. Local food.
