57˚ Mala Xiang Guo

i am a hardcore mala lover and has experienced a terrible and shocking mala xiang guo. it was bland, the spice did not hit and mostly oily with just dried chilli acting as props. i ordered da la and was shocked that this dish of mala bowl tasted like wei la 🙄🙄 this is extremely disappointing because it feels like a bowl of msg and dried chilli for show. my friend ordered zhong la and felt like it is bland and weird. meat feels undercooked, while noodles were overcooked. for mine, it feels like everything was BOILED. if this meant to be boiled mala i would have ordered mala hotpot or even malatang. none of the ingredients were soaked with or have any fragrance of mala. this completely showed me that the liao were probably stir fried for less than 5seconds. personally i DID NOT ENJOY. the mala xiang guo was NOT STIR-FRIED. it feels like a betray and is bringing my knees down to dispair

The experience was terrible; I wouldn't recommend it. The "Three Treasures of the Earth" dish I ordered had many problems: the potatoes were cut into very thick chunks instead of thin slices, had almost no flavor, and the whole dish was excessively oily and greasy. The tableware was stained. I told the waiter I wanted it replaced, but received no response and had to take the bowl to get it replaced myself. The restaurant charged a service charge as usual, but basic hygiene and service were substandard. It was very poor value for money, and I won't be coming back.

I previously ordered a blind box and came with cucumber + tofu skin but wasn't able to see that in the menu. So i add an remark in the order via foodpanda. The kind staffs gave me what i wanted. Food was great and portion just right! This is my lunch must order shop. Thank you 57mala!!

Residence of Yishun Sinopec there When I am willing to walk a bit of distance to Wisteria to eat, you know this place serves superb food. All of it, at least for alacart food such as mapo tofu, Hot oil noodle, shredded potato, sliced beef fried rice are all the dishes that make me and my family members return there almost 5 times a week. If you craves for a warm meal, this is a place to be. But seriously, the mala hotpot here are not worth your time. Sit down, scan the qr code on the table, and order the food that I’ve just recommended above.
