I ordered the Sichuan Fish with Pickled Mustard Greens and was really disappointed. The taste was strange, almost like the oil used to fry the fish had been reused too many times. The flavor was so unpleasant that my friends and I could barely eat half the dish. For something that should be fragrant and appetizing, it turned out oily, stale, and honestly awful. When we gave feedback, the staff brushed it off by saying “the taste is like this.” On top of that, the service was rude. One of the staff even asked my friend’s son, “So what do you want us to do if the food is bad?” That’s not the right attitude at all. Instead of offering a solution like replacing the dish, giving a discount, or showing any form of sincerity, they told us to “keep the receipt” and we could get a discount on our next visit. Honestly, after such a bad experience, do they really think we’d want to come back? Very unprofessional and disappointing. Definitely not recommended.

affordable bowl of mala. all ingredients going for 2.30$/100g. however i realised they don’t have crab meat. soy products like tofu skin are a bit hard. peanuts are sadly not crispy fresh. its not a bad bowl of mlxg honestly, and i think a lot of people come here because its really affordable, u see lots of students here as well.

ordered mala from this store and after a few bites my fiance and i saw a black object that looks like a insect … i thought the food will be up to standard but i guess i was wrong .. never ordering from here ever again , super disappointed - ordered from food panda btw

At their peak, the mala is super good, spicy and most importantly, tasty. Had been a frequent customer at their admiralty outlet and was ecstatic they opened an outlet near my house! They are not stingy and their ingredients are mostly fresh. Honourable mentions: The mutton is nice and tender, and their cheese tofu is different from the ones you get in the supermarket. A little fishier but smoother. Their $1 mystery dish from grab is really worth it, great portion and so delicious!

Been a regular customer for takeaway.but yesterday was my1st time order cuttlefish to try n yet $3.50 for these pathetic pcs.Really very disappointed n will NOT ORDER FORM THEM AGAIN.

Looks like management has changed . No one bother to clear the tables and left flies flying around the dirty plates . Standard have dropped indeed compared to the management last time . Food standard has dropped too .

They have a self service free pickled veg bar which is great. The laziji was alrighr but overcooked, i felt it lacked compared to others that I've had. The fried rice was disappointing as no wokhei. I wouldn't really order again. The brown sugar rice cakes($6) were fresh and delicious though. Total paid about 31 dollars for 3. Wouldn't really eat again unless it was that i chose the wrong dishes. Maybe would try the mala.

Ordered a Mala Spicy Grilled sea bass (small order). The serving size was generous enough to feed two adult diners. Wait time was about 10min for the food to be brought to the table after placing the order. The service staffs were attentive and provide good service. The restaurant smell like the kitchen and I walked out smelling like the fish I had. It will be great if the restaurant can improve the ventilation system.
