Delish Greek food, with great service and ambience First time at Blu. Was there for a celebratory dinner. And being first timer, we read the reviews and played it safe by ordering the popular ones - the Paidakia (lamb chops), fried calamari, Kleftiko (lamb shank), lamb and beef moussaka, lamb meatballs, the 3-dip platter, and towards the end, got a little bit adventurous, the Koulouri (sesame ring bread), and baklava. Food was good! Delish. My fav would be the Paidakia, lamb meatballs with harisa base, the dips and Koulouri. The mediu. Paidakia is done to perfection... Smoky crustiness on the outside , tender and juicy inside. Meatballs were yummy, again I can taste the smokiness from the grill and the tender minced lamb meats inside. When paired with the slightly spicy harisa and tangy yoghurt, it gave a savory, meaty, tangy, spicy explosion with each mouthful. The freshly baked Koulouri went so well with the dips and moussaka. The moussaka were good, but can be quite heavy on the belly... They were both cheesy, creamy rich and umamiful. I prefer the lamb over the beef, not by much, but I have got to say, the Greeks got their lambs dishes right! Service was excellent and attentive. And ambience at Dempsey, with the high ceiling, decor and mood lighting made for nice meal with great company and conversations. Why not 5 stars, you may ask? Despite the delish meal, the satisfaction at the end of it... Was just missing something... It was good, food and drinks wise... But I can't help feeling it's over priced... Even at Dempsey. Probably a place for special occasions only or if you want to impress someone based on the price point.

First, the staff. Impeccable. Truly lovely people. Warm, attentive, and wonderfully accommodating, they looked after us with such genuine enthusiasm that we briefly considered awarding the restaurant five stars based on hospitality alone. If charm were edible, we would have left completely satisfied. The food, not terrible, not offensive, but certainly not the heroic Mediterranean triumph one might expect given the rather formidable bill that awaited us at the end. The seafood platter, while promising in theory, appeared to have endured a slightly overzealous relationship with heat. The fish arrived rather dry, and the shrimp clung on it’s shell with dear life, though in places surrendering into a puzzling mushiness that gave the faint impression of having recently completed a long residency in the freezer. The lamb shanks were perfectly adequate, though they possessed the culinary charisma of a polite handshake. And yet, redemption appeared in the form of the dips. We ordered four, and every single one was delightful. Paired with warm pita bread that arrived soft and generously portioned, this humble lineup became the undisputed star of the table. The baklava diverged somewhat from the versions we’ve encountered elsewhere but remained pleasant enough. The kunafa arrived perfuming the table with glorious buttery aromas, only to deliver a surprisingly restrained flavour profile, the cheese light, delicate, and perhaps just a touch shy of making a proper statement. Our final bill, which admittedly reflects the enthusiastic ordering habits of 2 people who perhaps momentarily forgot they were only 2 people, landed somewhere around the $400 mark. While the food was decent, we don’t believe it quite justified such a robust price tag. Still, the staff were so lovely that the birthday lunch remained an enjoyable affair regardless.

We chose blu kouzina to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Thanks to chandra and others who served us for making it such a memorable experience for us. But definitely huge kudos and credits goes to chandra. From the time we arrived, we came forward to ask our preferences, recommended accordingly to our preferences and went out of his way with some specific recommendations too. Really appreciate the amazing service standards maintained by him and the team. Food was delicious and fresh. Felt really good , loved everything and definitely will come back ! ☺️ 5/5!

Started the meal with warm, soft pita and honestly, the hummus was a pleasant surprise. It had its own character, not the usual bland kind, and paired really well with the hummus. The grilled octopus was nicely done, crispy on the outside, tender inside. There was a slight sour kick from the vinegar, but it didn’t overpower the dish. The lamb was really good. Juicy, fresh, and most importantly, no strong lamb smell or taste, which I appreciated. The fish soup was a standout for me — very unique and full of fresh seafood flavour, you can tell it wasn’t rushed. The chicken skewer was a bit tough, probably due to the cut used, but still enjoyable overall. Dessert came last and it was rich, dense and nicely cheesy. Very satisfying way to end the meal. The place itself has a cozy, retro feel with high ceilings and vintage details that make it easy to just sit back and enjoy the time there. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

Went here for dinner, spent $600 and very dissapointed!!! The service was not warm enough, a bit rush, totally understaffed. Order meat platter and only the Lamb chop very good and tender. Chicken was dry, bifteki has sour taste toward the middle part and very mushy 2/5 Orzo with prawns nice 4/5 The grill calamari smell fishy especially in the inner part of the rings, i think they don’t clean it properly. Try to complain to the waiter and the reply was “It was because the squid come from the sea”. I was speechless and decided to return it and still got fully charged without any compensation whatsoever! 0/5 The seabass has fishy smell and the meat texture was abit mushy..I don’t bother to complain anymore 1/5. Imam baildi tasted like eggplant balacan 1/5. Greek salad fresh and tasty especially the Feta Cheese 4,5/5

Food was super delicious, as someone who tried Greek cuisine for the first time, this ABSOLUTELY blew my mind. The food was extremely flavourful and the pistachio dessert (I’m not sure what it was) was SO TASTY. I loved the sauce that came along with it as well. Not to mention the mains were also AMAZING. Furthermore, the service was amazing and the service crew were extremely welcoming. They constantly checked in on me and my friend to make sure that everything is okay and if we require any other additional assistance. I would definitely revisit this place for other occasions like Christmas or even date nights. Highly recommend this to anyone who is considering to visit 😊

Opted for the Taramasalata dip ($20.50+) to go with the Grilled Pita ($5.50) and Koulouri Bread ($7.50). There is the option of three dips but we found it to be overly pricey at $43.50+ and decided to make do with one. Really enjoyed everything, just need to be quick when consuming the bread as it hardens overtime. We also ordered the Meat Platter Small ($112.50+) to try abit of all the different proteins. The clear winner would be the lamb chop, I would definitely order this specifically for future visits. I was not a fan of the chicken skewer as it was quite tough. The bifteki, which is a meat patty, was not bad and grew on me with subsequent bites. The beef was okay. For dessert, we got the Baklava ($17.50+). As we were quite full, we ate half here and took away the other two pieces. Surprisingly, it tasted much better chilled in the fridge overnight and softened slightly, which was great because it was really hard to bite.
