Review for Little Pond. Celebrated Mother’s Day there and it was our first time trying it. The queues were super long from 12pm all the way till dinner time. We arrived at around 4pm and still had to wait about 20 minutes. Luckily there were stools by the side for waiting. No reservations allowed. Really like their concept where you only pay $1 for free flow ice cream and drinks. Now about the food. Must order is definitely the golden sauerkraut fish. We ordered the small size and the amount of fish was still very generous. Soup was not overpowering or overly oily, very drinkable. Another must order is the giant fork pork collar. Visually very interesting when served. Taste-wise it was great too, especially with the plum sauce and chilli powder on the side for dipping. We also tried the black truffle beef. The beef itself was slightly dry, but the dipping sauce that came with it totally complemented the dish perfectly. For the prawns, we ordered the non-spicy version because of the kids. The prawns were nicely cut halfway through the shell which made them much easier to eat. Very flavourful dish with lots of ingredients like celery, potato strips and Chinese rice cakes. However, at $54.50 after GST, I personally found it a bit pricey and probably won’t order it again next time, although to be fair the portion was quite big. The disappointing dish was the sizzling minced pork tofu. The minced pork portion was very little which was still acceptable, but the tofu was sliced too thinly and tasted not fresh. Would avoid ordering this dish.

Golden sauerkraut fish not bad, not really feel thirsty after few sips of the soup. Big surprise was the Giant skewer bbq pork collar. Well marinated and tender, very addictive paired with dry spices condiment and sweet plum sauce. Roasted black truffle beef short ribs was dry and a bit hard to chew. Red sugar sticky rice was not up to our expectation. Different taste from what we had during China trip. Rice was great though. Chestnut pork roll and USA beef were not bad. Assorted cold drink tasted artificial not to my liking. DIY flower tea was average. Will back again to try the prawn and other dishes. Updated review for meal on 23.05.26: We went for dinner and ordered the signature whole prawn with sweet & sour, mild spicy flavour to accommodate spicy tolerance of our children. All prawns were overcooked. Seasoning was kind of funny to me, hints of curry but not really what I expected. My kids never enjoyed it. The prawn shell were all sticked on flesh, which may not fresh enough in my opinion. (If one ever bought fresh wild caught prawn frequently from wet market, should have known how to make comparison in terms of taste and texture) For a dish priced at $39.90, it may not appeal to be a value buy after a try yesterday. Will never order this dish again, may try other sliced fish dish instead. Service standard seems dropping too.

Tangy Lime Fish: New menu item, a light and tangy Tomato Citrus Soup marketed as spicy but we couldn’t detect any? Somehow tastes a bit like lemongrass and gave me Sapa salmon/sturgeon hotpot vibes. Good option if you want something light and refreshing (vs Milky Golden Broth). Like their other soup dishes, it comes with Suan Cai, Glass Noodles, Enoki, Black Fungus. Giant Fork Grilled Pork Collar: New menu item, SUPER juicy and tender with a nice savory grilled flavor. Already good on its own but dip into the Plum Sauce and Spices for chef’s kiss. FREE FLOW Self Service Station: Free flow AND good quality! I like to mix their house-made chili sauce and sesame sauce (tastes like peanut), similar to what some Mala Soup stores serve. Drinks include DIY Floral Tea. Soft-Serve comes in Milk and a 2nd flavor that they change regularly to keep things interesting!

THE FOOD TRAVELLER REVIEW ✨ Northside Hidden Gem: Big Flavors at Little Pond! ✨ If you’re scouting for the perfect group dinner spot in the North, look no further! 📍 Little Pond @ Northpoint City is officially on my "Must-Visit" list. We hit this up on a friend’s recommendation, and honestly? It lived up to the hype. ⏱️ The Strategy Fair warning: this place is popular! We arrived during the dinner rush and definitely had to join the queue. The good news? They have a 70-minute dining limit, which means the line moves reasonably fast. You won't be waiting forever to get your fix! 🥘 The Feast (Portions = 10/10) We were a group of five, and the portion sizes here are massive. We ordered the 2-3 pax portions of the Golden Sauerkraut Fish and the Braised Pork Ribs & Prawns, and it was more than enough to go around. Golden Sauerkraut Fish: The broth is incredible, and the best part? You can ask the friendly staff to top up your soup for free! 🥣 Fried Garlic Pork Ribs: DO NOT SLEEP ON THESE. They were surprisingly tasty—crispy, fragrant, and a total table favorite. Spicy Beef & Tripe: For my spice lovers, this side dish adds that perfect kick to the meal. 🍦 The $1 "Life Hack" For just a $1 top-up, you get access to the free-flow station. We’re talking DIY sauces, drinks, and unlimited ice cream to cool down your palate. It’s the ultimate value move. 💸 👨👩👧👦 Family & Kid Friendly One thing I loved? The spice levels are super approachable. Unlike some places that blow your head off with heat, the dishes here are well-balanced and kid-friendly, making it a safe bet for the whole family. The Verdict: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service is snappy, the staff are genuinely lovely, and the food hits the spot every time. If you’re in the North and need a solid meal for the squad, this is the place!

I didn’t take any photo as initially I didn’t plan to do any reviews, but after I left the restaurant I feel I should comment on their good and ethical service. We ordered lamb skewers 2 sticks and 1 grilled squid initially, somehow I don’t know why they will know I might have order wrongly so the service staff came to me and confirm with me is it a double entry or I really need 2 skewer of squid! True enough maybe I accidentally click 2 so it’s a double entry. After that we ordered a tomato osmanthus fish soup, while we were already eating, the staff came again to ask if I want to change to the lunch set which is cheaper and comes with 2 bowl of rice too. As we only need a bowl so I only requested for one bowl of rice but she will change the soup to the set lunch instead which is like $31.90 They are so honest and ethical! They could have ignore my order and just charged it at the $39.90 without the rice and they would earn more but they didn’t do it, not easy to find many ethical restaurant nowadays, because of this I would definately visit them again, not sure is it the policy for little pond across the country or just this branch alone but really something nice and gd to be commented for.

Booked a table for 7 on 6 Aug 2025 at 1pm. Arrived and was greeted by the staff with a unpleasant news that there were no available table for 7 and we need to squeezed into a 4 pax table with the divider removed. The 1st instinct was to question the staff on the need of our reservation and having us squeezed into a 4pax table was not what we expected since we have reservation. No angry words were exchange but just full of disappointment and upset. This wasn't my 1st dining with 小鱼唐 but was the 1st time I experience this. Settling down took abt 15min as we really want the staff to find us a table since we have reservation. We decided to give in to the ridiculous request of squeezing when suddenly there was an offer of the 7 pax table which was previously occupied. Great! The staffs were professional and polite throughout the experience. Kudos to the staff serving our table. A serving of Red sugar sticky rice cake was on the house for the incident. I told the staff, in future if there was a booking b4 the next booked timing, they should inform the 1st party tat there will be a 2nd booking at the same table at the next available timing and there is a dining time restriction due to this.

Little Pond at Northpoint City serves comfort food with smart perks in a casual setting. I had the sauerkraut fish, and every spoonful was a perfect balance of tangy and savoury, especially when paired with rice. Loved that they offer soup top-ups and even let you pack leftovers in a container box. The BBQ pork belly skewers were another hit. The spice rub was packed with flavor, and the meat was grilled just right. Don’t skip the free-flow drinks and dessert deal—I kept going back for the variety of teas and that addictive soft serve ice cream. Service was quick and efficient, rounding out a truly enjoyable meal.

Good deal from mon to fri 11am to 5pm where a pot for 2-3 pax is about 31.90+++. Kid's get $1 for a tomato flavoured soup with a gd amt of slice fishes, abt 2 glass noodles knot with rice. Top-up $1 for free flow of ice cream, tea (with tea bags and assortment of tea, chrysanthemum, roselle, lemon slices, dried tangerine) and soft drinks. Ice cream is on the sweet and coloured flavouring side. Ice cream cone is nice and crispy. Overall, the $1 top up is value for money. We order tom yum which is on the spicy side and has some fish cake, glass noodles, Sauerkraut fish is also still 生鱼片,with glass noodles and black fugus. 2 fish pots, 5 pax of $1 topup, $1 tomato soup, add $1.50 rice adds up to 80 plus bucks for 4 adults and a kid.
