Genki Sushi Northpoint City

This Sushi place at Northpoint serves good Japanese cuisine. My friend introduced me to this place. The food was amazing and sumptuous. The atmosphere was good until the mothers brought their children since it was a school holiday, it turned to be a bit noisy. The tables were clean. Price is reasonable. Service is good since my friend was on wheelchair. I recommend to all sushi lovers that you should try out this sushi outlet if you’re around Yishun area. 😋

I visited at 9pm for a quick bite. Booth seats was torn and plates were dirty. Salmon belly sushi was served toppled over. Rice was very stiff and hard, didn’t finish. But glad it was small and not too much. Staff was fast and efficient though. Can’t expect much from a fast service sushi joint.

This was one of the strangest dining experiences I've ever had at Genki Sushi. We were seated at around 8:20pm, and the staff immediately poured soy sauce into our sauce dishes and took the soy sauce bottle away. We were genuinely confused because we've never experienced this before. When we asked for the bottle, they simply refilled our dishes and told us to ask for more whenever we needed it because they were "closing soon." The restaurant closes at 10:00pm. If we had arrived at 9:30pm, I would completely understand. But we had just been seated, with well over an hour left before closing. It honestly made us feel like we were being subtly rushed through our meal. As if once we finished the soy sauce, we'd have to ask for more each time, making us feel less welcome to dine at our own pace. To make things worse, before it was even 9:30pm, the staff started loudly clearing and packing the surrounding tables. The atmosphere became so uncomfortable that it genuinely felt like customers were being chased out. I understand preparing for closing, but not at the expense of paying customers who arrived well within operating hours. I've never felt so unwelcome at a Genki Sushi before. Really disappointing.

Nowadays all sushi preparation by machine, all stick together. Sometimes anyhow drop on it and easy to separate.

Came down for lunch and love their lunch menu. And grab more salmon. Friendly staff and approachable

Good sushi but on the pricier side. Very long queue during lunch and dinner time, so I recommend queuing in advance either online or through their ticket kiosk.

Speedy and quick service compare to other branches. Favour family dinning location
