The dishes here are all really good value for money, with most main dishes priced at around $8. The portions are decent and, in fact, even bigger than what you might get at some coffee shops. We ordered three dishes, one drink and one serving of rice, and the total came up to just $34.77. I particularly liked the Tom Kha chicken soup with coconut milk. It was rich and very creamy. The pineapple fried rice was good too, although I personally found some parts of the rice slightly on the wetter side. It would have been even better if it were a little drier. The kang kong was slightly salty, and I found the sauce a little too concentrated. It could be diluted slightly for a better balance. That said, it tasted really good when paired with rice. On its own, however, I found it a little too salty. Overall, this is a very good and value-for-money place. The food is very reasonably priced, and I did not realise the prices here were this affordable. This was my first time coming back in many years, and it was a pleasant surprise!

I have been staying in North area for all my life but I never once ate here until now, after coming back from my Thailand trip 🤣 Food: The basil chicken rice is delicious, the sauce is a little salty but perfect with rice, it's a little more saucy than the ones in Thailand. There are bits and pieces of basil, and it's decently spicy (I can handle mcspicy, but that's my limit). Actually I think it's nicer than the one I ate in Bangkok. The mango sticky rice.... the rice is ok, I don't like it I'm not sure why, maybe because it's so solid. But the coconut cream is creamy and rich, and the mango is sweet and good in size. The Thai milk tea is nice and sweet enough (default sweetness unless you ask for less sweet) The best part is every item is piping hot, flavourful and well seasoned🌸 The sticky rice though 🙂 It wasn't very busy but there was like 4-5 tables occupied, my food came out within 5 minutes lol For portion sizes, I can barely finish this whole meal, I was very full. They also offer self service caramel popcorn and water(?) (I didn't even know that until the manager came to give me a bowl lol, thank you 🤭) Service: The crew is very friendly and smiley! I was so pleased to see how pleasant the atmosphere is, everyone works well together and are positive and cheerful ☺️ Process of dining in for reference: Wait at the entrance for them to bring you in. Scan the QR code at the paperslip and order first. They will bring you a paper slip of your order, please don't hide the receipt clip like me lol. Enjoy your meal and pay at the counter, they accept cash and paywave 🌸 As a introvert dining alone: It is very easy to order and eat alone🌸 I was settled at a corner seat near the popcorn machine and somehow the layout is arranged so even a table of 4 would still be able to look at me, so I felt kinda exposed, and isolated at the same time 😅 It's weird, because normally I would rejoice over such a secluded corner but I felt lonely and watched somehow😅 Maybe it's just me today.

Sanook is one of my favourite Thai restaurants. I love their mango salad and the promotional sets for 2 or 4 which are good value for money. Today, I went to the outlet at Northpoint City for lunch. There was no queue and I was immediately shown to a table. When I sat down, I sank into the seat. The cushion within the seat has disintegrated and not able to support any weight. I quickly shift to another chair which was much better but the exterior condition of the seat is far from pleasing to the eyes. Pic 1 shows the chair with poor support. Pic 2 was the chair that I'm sitting on.

Noisy Korean song playing with a lousy speakers , demanded to reduce the volume and was told sorry can’t do it . Serve the beef kailan first and the white rice came 15 mins later when the dish already cold . First time and last time here .

Not a bad place to dine, especially considering that most of the nearby restaurants already had long queues. I ordered the Pad Thai with Seafood, which cost around $10–$11. Although I'm usually not a big fan of Pad Thai, I found this dish quite tasty as the noodles were flavourful and well-balanced however, it wasn't the best I've ever had. Because it was dinner time, the restaurant was rather crowded and noisy, which made the atmosphere feel a little hectic.

Busy restaurant but welcoming staff was patient and unflustered. You can’t miss the SATAYS here, easily one of the best i’ve ever had. Ordered 8-9 dishes and none was disappointing. Fish and prawns were real fresh and chickens too, very tender with no frozen chicken taste unlike many well-known restaurants out there. Everyone left with only compliments for the food. (Was too busy eating didn’t manage to take all photos)

The waiting time for the food was about 15 to 20 minutes as it was dinner time.Staffs were very polite and apologetic about the delayed which was greatly appreciated. Must order the Onion omelette, it's crispy on the outside, flavorful and delicious. Both stir-fired Thai style kang Kong and beef with Thai herbs were no spicy and paired well with rice. Remember to enjoy complimentary popcorn and free flow drinking water.
