Sanook Kitchen - Woods Square

Authentic Thai restaurant located along the link mall at Woods Square. One of my frequent visit place. It can get very crowded during peak hours and weekends and you may have to queue for seat. The food is great, ranging from the very spicy to non-spicy choices (average pricing from $10-$30). I love to order the fish dish which was served hot and spicy (Steamed Sea Bass and Deep-Fried Sea Bass with Thai Chilli Sauce). The Pineapple Rice is favourful, Stir-fried Mixed Vegetable with Mushroom is delicious, and the Onion Omelette portion is generous. Dessert is great! The kids like the Red Ruby, Thai Chendol and Mango Sticky Rice with Coconut Milk. Good place to visit with the family when it is not too crowded. Can be quite noisy during peak hours. Free popcorn is available, and the place is children and seniors friendly. Halal-certified.

Sanook Kitchen has always been a constant for good Thai food option and easy to find. Been to multiple of their outlets and food is always consistent. Never thought of reviewing this since we grew up with this brand in Singapore. Today’s review will be a little different because it’s not food related, but it’s an incident that warmed my heart. Had a wardrobe slight malfunction and needed a safety pin as I still had to work, went to them and asked if they could spare a safety pin but the team didn’t have any. After coming out of the washroom, realised 1 of their staff was waiting outside. She took this pin out, and gave it to me. Tried rejecting as it looks so precious, and she was just so kind, she insisted it was okay and that I needed it more. Nice place to visit for family-friendly Thai cuisines. Great menu assortment and frequent promotional packages. The food was delicious and the service crews are friendly and helpful. You can scan the QR code and order from the app. You can also customise the dish for preferred spice level and alternative choice of meat. They served kids friendly menu as well. Recommended!

Came on a Sat evening for a table of 6. The food portions are big, we ordered an olive rice, a pineapple rice, a honey chicken rice and a set for 2. The set for 2 ($43) is good for 3 or more of us (small eaters). The tom yum soup is clear and quite spicy and 4 of us adults can't even finish the soup. The olive rice is too salty... we told the staff and got a brand new plate but still too salty... but they did not charge us for it after i told the cashier about it during payment. So very good customer service. There's also free popcorn and water. They can also cook the dishes non-spicy as we requested for the fish and vege of the 2 persons set. While the food is so so, may come back due to the good service.

So many 5 star already need my review for what. Chandon must try, Tomyum can skip if you don’t like those without milk, it’s all clear or red boo. But others are delicious ok!

Good food and good service! We really enjoyed our time here. The dishes were tasty, well-presented, and served hot, just the way we like them. The staff were polite, patient, and very helpful throughout our meal. It’s not easy to find a place that balances quality food with great hospitality, but this restaurant nailed it. Extremely long wait for 20~30 mins despite restaurant not being crowded. Food was unfortunately quite bland with no sauce toppings. The spring roll was badly prepared, only the sides were heated up while the middle was cold - not even room temperature, but COLD, like it just came out from the freezer and into the fryer but didn't fry properly before serving. Overall a bad experience.

food is amazing. staffs are all friendly and helpful. although the environment is quite noisy but it was still an enjoyable experience. they had also provided plain water for my husband to break fast while he was waiting for a table. would definitely come back again in the future. thank you!
