Xin Wang Hong Kong Café

I had a very disappointing experience at Xin Wang. When I entered the restaurant, I was trying to find a seat. I politely said "Excuse me" to a staff member twice, but she ignored me and did not respond. She only said "等" ("wait") with a very unfriendly attitude. As customers, we come here to pay for our meals, not to eat for free. We expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. There are many dim sum and Hong Kong-style restaurants in Singapore, so good customer service is important.

Service is great like most cafes, the place is built after traditional cafe shops in Hong Kong and it is also clean. I ordered the limited-time claypot curry ramen for 10.90 dollars and it is pretty nice. Despite the soggy noodles, you can still feel the richness of the curry spice and the chicken chop is crispy. 9.5/10 would come back here sometime

I’ve been eating here since I was 16, so this was honestly really disappointing. The food quality seems to have dropped a lot — my usual order wasn’t nice at all and I had to force myself to finish it because I was so hungry. My chicken was so burnt too. The soy sauce chicken also wasn’t good. On top of that, my mom waited over 30 minutes for her curry chicken while we were just sitting there getting more and more impatient. The service experience made the whole visit even worse. Really sad because this used to be one of my go-to places. Don’t think i will be dinning here ever again.

Dropped by this cafe and ordered a few dishes to try. Service here was actually pretty solid, staff were attentive and everything came out quite quickly, which made the whole experience quite smooth. Food wise, it was generally a nice meal. The creamy pasta was a bit on the bland side, could have had more flavour, but still alright overall. Only thing is the noodle portion felt quite small for the price, which is slightly on the higher side, so it didn’t feel very worth it. Still, a decent place to check out, especially for the service. Just don’t expect big portions.

Xin Wang never misses when I need a solid HK cafe fix. The yuan yang in a metal mug hits different. nostalgic and comforting every single time. French toast is crispy on the outside, not too jelak, exactly how it should be. Service is quick even when it gets busy, and the menu has enough variety that everyone in the group finds something. Great spot to chill and catch up with friends, especially since some outlets run 24 hours. Always a go-to

Came here for a quick dinner and food was quite okay! Egg fried rice was a little on the bland side but paired with the french beans was perfect!

waited for black sesame tang yuan for a good 20 minutes, and the amount was disappointing, container so small but still not filled to the brim. $4.90 for 1? please improve on your quantity!

Such an off peak timing, take 30mins to have my egg rice on the table.
