The lala hotpot here is super good! I really enjoyed not just the food, but also how affordable everything is. The ingredients are fresh and the soup is very flavourful. What impressed me the most was the service. The staff are super friendly, attentive, and very caring. I came with my two kids, and you know how kids can be—asking for this and that all the time 😅. The staff attended to our requests patiently. They respond almost immediately every single time, and they were never annoyed and always remained kind and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. Will definitely come back again!

Visited with some relatives from out of town. Very warm welcome from the front of house manageress, who was friendly in getting us seated and taking our orders. We ate baby squid, steamed prawns, yam ring, mee goreng and one signature chilli crab. The baby squid was delicious although not all pieces were crispy, probably due to the marinade coating. The steamed prawns were generously topped with garlic and very fresh. There were quite large pieces of chicken in the yam ring, which was a plus. The outer layer was also nice and crispy. The mee goreng uses a slightly thicker noodles than what I am used to but it was fine because the overall dishwasher was very tasty. The chilli crab was mouthwateringly good, with plump meat and savoury gravy. The fried mantou we ordered were a little small so I would advise ordering more. This restaurant specialises in crab and they also sell some crab merch as well as have some accessories for your selfies and wefies.

This place is terrible. We have done booking for Mother's day but the restaurant has done double and triple booking and made us queue again with walk-in because there are no table ls available. There is totally no system as the usher had no booking books and many people in the queue also made booking and we don't know how she call customers to table. We have been waiting for more than 45 min and still waiting!! Absolutely messy and disorganized. Very terrible experience!!

ABSOLUTE DISASTER!! DO NOT EVER come for CNY Eve dinner!! Paid restaurant prices for a hawker-style experience. First, we had to queue for more than 20 min just to get in, even though we had a reservation. Then we were assigned seats that were extremely cramped and uncomfortable. Our chairs got kicked so many times over the whole course of dinner. They squeezed in more tables than the place could handle, our chairs were overlapping with the next table, and servers were carrying dishes over our heads. 30 min in and we had only been served the lou hei. When the crab finally arrived, it was cold. The dishes came in the wrong order, and the whole dining experience overall was VERY VERY POOR!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Food was decent overall, but quite expensive for what you get. The taste was okay — nothing particularly outstanding, just average considering the price point. One issue that really stood out was the inconsistency in the prawn paste chicken pricing. The $6.90 version on the lala menu came with 4 pieces, while the $18 version on the main menu only came with 6 pieces. That is a very unreasonable price gap for just 2 extra pieces. I tried to clarify this with the server, but they insisted that the portioning was correct. Only after I went to the counter to raise the concern did they offer to charge the $6.90 price for the 6-piece chicken. I appreciate the adjustment, but the whole situation felt unnecessary and confusing. Another frustrating point was the refill of the lala, which took about 30 minutes even though it was just raw lala taken from the fridge. The waiting time felt excessive and disrupted the dining experience. Overall, service recovery was acceptable, but the pricing structure and operational efficiency could definitely be improved. Food is decent, but not quite worth the price and hassle.

I recently dined at House Of Seafood, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The food is absolutely magnificent—every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully plated, and prepared with clear attention to detail. From the first bite to the last, it was a true culinary delight. Equally impressive was the service, which was peak in every sense. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured that our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. I highly recommend House Of Seafood to anyone seeking an unforgettable meal with top-tier hospitality. This place truly sets the standard for excellence.

Great place to have a seaside seafood meal. Their crab mostly never disappoints. Pork ribs are good, but occasionally some do come out less tender than expected. ee mian (egg noodles) has standard, and the 3-egg vegetable is also worth s try. Pity the dish (the gravy part) often gets cold fast if you are eating indoors under the a/c. The place (especially the Al fresco seating area) is usually teeming with hotpot diners, so it's quite a nice setup, though I wouldn't imagine the prices for the sets are comparable to those in the "actual" JB-style hotpots. But overall it's usually a good encounter and as always, we give 6 stars to Nancy the ultimate wait-staff aunty!! She does the restaurant proud!! 😄😍🤩

Visited JB lala hotpot which is part of house of seafood. Lala was ok but nothing super fantastic. Noodles were ok. Satay frozen but palatable. Prawn paste chicken no taste of prawn paste. Old man serving satay was grouchy when requested for extra bowls of satay sauce and commented sarcastically that order few sticks want more sauce. Gave one extra bowl of sauce 10mins later but damage was already done. F&B that don't do well prob due to this type of service level. I am not expecting hotel standard of service but don't make me like I am begging for some extra condiments. Originally wanted to return with family this weekend as kid likes lala but the satay man totally turned me off. I will be avoiding punggol settlement outlets like a plague. My previous experience at another outlet many years ago before google reviews was not good. If want to makan at north side, just go wheeler estate area. Your final bill will be the same here without the poor service.
