🚨 UPDATE: Cockroach in the soup. What seemed like a hollow apology was followed by nearly 30 new reviews overnight after my review. This place usually gets only 3–6 reviews a week. Draw your own conclusions. A LARGE cockroach was found in the tofu stew after about half of the dish had already been eaten. At first, it was mistaken for a piece of vegetable and was almost eaten. It was absolutely shocking, disgusting, and nauseating. The side dishes also looked old and dried out, which made us seriously question the restaurant’s hygiene standards. Finding a cockroach in a meal is completely unacceptable. We will be reporting this incident to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). We will never return and cannot recommend this restaurant.

Authentic Gem in Suntec City! As a tourist wandering through the super busy Suntec City Mall, finding this place was such a great win. It was packed with locals, which is always the best sign that the food is legit. Why we loved it: * The Food: My husband and I got the crispy fried Korean mackerel and it was amazing. Highly recommend it! * Big Portions: At S$23 each, the portions were huge and left us completely full. Great value for money. * The Tofu Station: They have a really cool live tofu-making station at the front. I was so tempted to try it, but I opted for the fish instead this time! * Free Tea: They give you hot, unsweetened barley tea for free. It was so comforting, and you don't even need to waste money ordering extra drinks. * The Service: The staff were really polite and the food came out super fast, which we appreciated. If you are exploring the mall and want a satisfying, high-quality meal, skip the tourist traps and come here. We would definitely recommend it!

Located on the second floor of the mall. Nice Korean restaurant. The view was great. Wide variety of food to choose from. The food was served promptly. And the food was not bad. The kimchi was quite good. Overall experience was enjoyable. Don’t mind coming again.

Seafood Soft Tofu Stew $23.90++ Stew were mild in taste, I ordered seafood but it came looking so sad, you see the crab? Might as well don't give, cannot even be eaten........ It has 1 Prawn, 4 clams, 2 mussels and 1 of it couldn't be open, I'm not sure what seafood stew is this. The banchan also were meh, felt like they have left it there for quite sometimes and it has became stale. The Bean sprouts is like those Chinese style using mung bean instead of soybean which is usually used in Korean cuisine which does not taste appetizing. The seaweed were like dead and the kimchi were dry up and the taste is just off.... I went around early 6pm on a friday not many people but when I ended my meal and walk pass again people were queuing but why.... the taste is below average.

Items ordered: • Perilla Tofu Stew set • Assorted Tofu Stew set • Rolled Omelette • LA Galbi • Kimchi Pancake Recommended items: • LA Galbi: trust. this is packed with flavour. • Assorted Tofu Stew Set: It was better than what I ordered, which brings me to: Not recommeded items: • Kimchi Pancake: Flavourful but can do without the squid. Literally great tasting pancake till you hit the bland squid. • Rolled Omelette: Y'all think it would look like the image in the menu but the item came as just a rolled egg without seasoning, unless you dip it in the gigantic squirt of ketchup beside it. For reference, the menu picture has what looks like shredded carrots and spring onions inside the omelette. • Perilla Tofu Stew Set: I had to beg the Galbi to lend some flavour to this stew. I don't expect the tofu be a flavour bomb but can y'all do something about the broth? All in all, its okay-ish but for that price there's a better place a few minutes walk away. Head to Onggi for a better experience.

The shabu shabu was well worth the price; pork collar which were tender, green vegetables/mushroom plus a portion of flat noodles enough for 2-3 pax. The mackerel was meaty and fresh. The potato pancake was crispy and big in portion. The omelette was soft with nice vege fillings.

If you enjoy good Korean stews, this restaurant is for you. Situated near Suntec City's Convention Centre makes it a convenient spot for good Korean nosh. Service is fast and the young staff are polite. Seafood tofu stew is a bit more flavourful than the Original tofu stew. However, if you add some of the banchan like the kimchi and seaweed, they jazz up the Original stew much better. Two good side dishes are the kimchi pancake, which is crispy and loaded, as well as the omelette. The bibimbap is average and enough for 2 persons to share.

First time trying after hearing so much about the restaurant A super fan of soontofu & of cos when I walked past & there was no queue, I knew I definitely will need to go in immediately! Quite a diverse selection of soontofu from meat to Seafood. For those not keen on tofu there are other options too like bibimbap , galbi, pancake etc Hot & cold tea are self service In terms of service, not much human interaction since order are order via the device Good for solo & small group dining I think for larger groups finding seats would be difficult!
