Wawa Lala Bee Hoon (Fortune Centre)

Laksa Ramen offers a choice of noodles, rice vermicelli, or glass noodles. The broth is quite flavorful, and the clams seem to be Taiwanese sea snails—they're generously portioned. Although a bit sandy, the three fish paste-based toppings are also quite tasty. The food court has air conditioning, which is nice. Cash only, no credit cards accepted.

Absolutely delicious! Adding Shaoxing wine would enhance the flavor even more! I wish I could visit their bee hoon (vermicelli) soup. I love adding Shaoxing wine to the noodles, which only costs 50 cents more (if I remember the pricing correctly).

The mussels with spaghetti were fresh and delicious. The sauce could have been a bit more flavorful.

I’ve been a repeat customer at Wawa Lala Bee Hoon for a while now, and the signature lala soup is still as rich, shiok, and flavorful as ever. The chilli, clam and wine broth never disappoints, though today's portion felt a bit smaller than expected compared to my previous visits. Service was fast. That said, their consistency overall is fantastic. On past visits, I’ve tried the Vongole Spaghetti and the fresh blood cockles, both were absolutely spot on and full of flavor. Definitely still one of my go-to spots for a satisfying lala craving, and I hope the portion sizes stay generous!

Had No. 1, 4 & 7 with 2 prawn balls. Then added "tambah tasty nasi". Amazingly fresh the food. Cockles and Lala were "full bodied". But warning on their wawa hot sauce. Really need to taste it. Definitely no regrets. Smackalicious!

Tried the laksa and the yellow wine lala noodles . It is so delicious till we finish all the soup. Definitely will be back again

I've been a loyal customer of your restaurant for a long time. I either dine in every two weeks or order through Grab, so this review comes from someone who genuinely enjoys your food and has supported your business consistently. However, I don't know when things started to change, but your quality control has clearly gone downhill. The soup base is no longer as rich and flavorful as it used to be. The marinated blood cockles were another major disappointment. There was an excessive amount of sesame oil—so much that it made the dish greasy, overwhelming, and unpleasant to eat. On top of that, the blood cockles were no longer fresh. I understand that raw marinated seafood needs time to marinate, but that's very different from serving seafood that has spoiled. This time, at least seven of the blood cockles had a strong unpleasant smell and tasted like they had gone bad. I've never experienced anything like this at your restaurant before, so I have to ask—what happened? There's another issue that really disappointed me. You have a promotion where customers who find eight baby crabs in their dish can redeem a small side dish. From my experience, whenever I dine in, I can only find one or two baby crabs at most. However, when I order delivery, I regularly find more than 10–20 baby crabs in the exact same dish. The difference is so obvious that it's hard not to question whether the baby crabs are being intentionally removed from dine-in orders to reduce the number of customers who can redeem the free side dish, while delivery orders are left untouched. I sincerely hope that's not the case, but the contrast is simply too noticeable to ignore. As someone who has supported your restaurant for a long time, it's genuinely disappointing to see the food quality decline and to experience such a noticeable difference between dine-in and delivery. I hope you'll take this feedback seriously and bring back the quality and consistency that made so many of us become loyal customers in the first place.
