Lao Chao Zhou Mee Siam

This satay bee hoon is a gem of a find! The sauce of the Satay bee Hoon makes or breaks the entire dish as the bee Hoon and ingredients are completely drenched with it. The sauce of this stall stands out, the gravy with its slight tinge of spiciness, was smooth and not too gelat and blended perfectly with the ingredients that was drenched with it. There were the usual ingredients of this dish, the kang Kong, pork strips, innards etc. $7.50 for the larger version. Superb dish and highly recommended!

The mee siam is well flavoured but what makes theirs stand out is the flavour from the fried hei bi infused into the soup. There is also a generous portion of heibi on the side. Was contemplating between getting the $4 and $5 portion. In the end i took $4 but it was enough to fill me 😊 The two aunties cooking and serving the mee siam were cheerful and polite. There was a queue but it moved pretty fast. Definitely must come back when im craving mee siam!

I really enjoyed the mee siam here, because it was more tangy than other mee siams that I have eaten, and reminded me of a stall at Jurong East interchange back when I was still in primary school more than 20+ years ago! I highly encourage giving the mee siam a try because it is different from those from Malay stalls!

Taste was neither here nor there. Not salty or sour enough. Lacks traditional mee siam taste. Distracting fruity and coconut aroma. Absolutely no umph!

A delicious Mee Siam. Taste like the Indian type , with coconut and peanuts on the gravy soup, love the addition of the crispy ‘Hae pi’ small tiny shrimp, my all time favorites, had it for a continuous 4 days, yummy good 👍👍👍😋😋😋, they do sell satay bee Hoon on certain days, but, yet to try

Extremely overrated Just $4 for a pack of beehoon and a hard boiled egg Buy at your own risk - you'll find better options with meat or more sides anywhere in the market They'll claim it's "old school traditional" style to con the elderly and customers but fact is the portions are so meagre

This is really great. Lots of Mee. The soup was delicious and typical thickness and not watery. Finished it quickly. The 5 bucks one is big. Actually, I think 4 dollars is good enough. If there is something to add, it will be fried chicken. Haha.
