When it comes to chicken rice, there are no lack of stalls in Singapore. Most serve average chicken rice, and Thiam Kee is no exception to the rule. This chicken rice, is plain average. What stands out however, is the soup. You can see that it has been boiled with plenty of cabbage, and is exceptionally sweet, a delight to your palette. However, I am not here for the soup....... but it is a good bonus. Can try, but dont expect to be blown away by the food.

Went to order white chicken, jie wei. Was told no more. I said, it's okay just regular. Next someone ordered after me in Chinese and I heard her ask for Jie Wei...her order was accepted. I was then served drumstick for the upcharge price. I said I don't want drumstick as I said regular...was met with resistance and black face. Terrible.

The chicken meat is tender and sweet. The curry soup could be thicker. Overall, it is above average
