Lavender Fish Soup

We are so glad that the BEST fish soup is back to Lavender again. Ever since when I was in primary school, we have tasted it often as a family and also our childhood friends. The taste and quality are still as authentic as ever. 💯 Pardon for the half eaten Fried Fish Soup Mee Sua and Fried egg, we miss it too much that we forgot to take a photo before eating. 😂 👨🏻 👩🏻 Uncle and aunty have moved from places to places due to landlords / rental / common unforeseen circumstances in F&B businesses. The customers also have been finding and following them as they move. ❤️ What touched us the most is, the aunty still remember our usual order EXACTLY the same, even though she doesn’t see us on weekly and monthly basis, ever since we all have grown up and moved out of the estate. 😭 They truly value their customers, be it old or new. Do go down and taste the best fish soup if you’re at the area! 🐟 The soup is the POWER. If you like fresh fish, it’s VERY fresh. If you like fried fish, it’s our favourite. We also like their special chilli and fried egg. We will always top up the fried egg. 😋 Fried fish and thick beehoon are our favourite. 🥰

Fish Soup is very good but the auntie attitude is very bad. I bought a fish soup with fried egg and after eating i saw a fly with head, wings and legs. I immediately went back to the store and the auntie twist her word and say that it is FRIED SHALLOT, she even put the FRIED SHALLOT in my soup to try to "convince" me it is not. After which she refunded me the fish soup in cash unwillingly and told me that "my business is hard to do". I just feel that she has a very bad attitude instead of apologising she insist that it is my issue and that I was trying make it difficult for her. I have to admit the fish soup is nice but I will never come back again.

Paiseh lah too delicious dy I forgot to take photo until I finished the whole bowl 😲 I ordered the 生鱼片米粉汤。They're so generous of their fish slices, and their chili sauce is quite special, they added beancurd in it which stimulated extra fragrance and boosted the taste of the garlic chili soy sauce. Their soup base is quite nice also, 很鲜甜。and their fried egg floss, 炸蛋，when dipped in the sauce and put onto one table spoon of noodles, 🍜 and slurrppp. Yummy~🍜

Finally made my way back to this stall after they relocated here about half a year ago. Glad to say the food quality is still as good as before, and surprisingly, the prices haven't really changed either. The fried egg is a must-add in my opinion. It's the soul of the soup if you don't mind the extra calories. The chili is worth trying too, with a nice mix of soy sauce and bean paste that goes really well with the meal. Pictured is the #3 Fried Fish + Egg + Rice ($6.20). Be prepared for a queue, especially on rainy days. It's best to come before 12 PM or after 1 PM if you want a shorter wait. The coffee shop can get pretty crowded during peak lunch hours.

This can be considered as one of the best fish soup in Singapore. Operated by a very friendly middle age couple. The soup is freshly delicious. One can also have choice of different fishes. An enjoyment every mouthful. The venue is cleanly kept.

Regular customer, would usually have their fried fish slices which absorbs their soup and stall-mixed chilli sauce well. Feeling under the weather today so had their snakehead fish slices instead. Fresh and of decent thickness but doesn't taste as sweet as batang. My personal preference is still their fried fish slices in soup, which I will return for soon.

Finally can enjoy the best fish soup noodle in Singapore again! They have been in this area for a long long time since 15 years ago then shifted out for a while. Now they are back! Glad to have them back here :)
