Tai Seng Fish Soup 泰成魚湯

This is a 3.5 stars review. Have been eating Tai Seng for the past year. Well, not regularly, but once every 1 to 2 mths. Typically during weekends when everyone in the family dunno what to eat. Its the kind of comfort food, decent enf for a quick dinner. Fish smooth and fresh, soup is pretty good. Its definitely not deserving 1 or 2 stars, pretty decent, but personally i think not up to mich level award. Auntie sure will not be winning best service award, but she's never been rude to me. Could mean curt to someone else, but oh well, to each his own. Hygiene wise, i never encountered any hair or any insects etc. Its definitely a stall i will continue to frequent

Ordered twin fish soup for $5.50. Milk is not an auto given so need to ask. Sliced fish: good Fried fish: average Soup: good Sides: is good that they have Chili: great Amount for money: good Sliced fish was average side but is firm and fresh is taste. Not the most boucy but definitely fresh tasting. Fried fish is just average kind that gets soagy when comes in contact soup. It is thicker so i guess u get more meat ordering fried. Otherwise sliced fish tasted better. Soup at first tasted diluted but towards the end it does taste sweet, quite naturally i guess but could have infuse the essent of the ingredients. While not fantastic but at least they have a varieties of sides such as tofu and cabbage. The high is definitely the egg floss. Chili was great. Not just your spicy type but it has a great sour taste of acid to it. Not that the fish soup was greasy but it does improve appetite. For $5.50 they gave quite a good amount of food and most importantly their variety. However it is very average, the nearest to fish soup to your house might just be as good just short of those sides. No sure if this is the main but Nick is definitely not in the shop... I thought owner of license needs to be there?

I wasn’t planning to eat fish soup, but I happened to pass by this shop and was surprised to see a Michelin 2023 award stall in such a quiet neighbourhood food court, so I decided to give it a try. For SGD 6.00, the fried fish soup comes with many pieces of fried fish and thick vermicelli, which is definitely value for money. The fried fish was well done — not too crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The soup was flavourful without being too thick, with just the right amount of condensed milk. The highlight was the freshly made chilli sauce, which paired perfectly with the fried fish. Will definitely come back again.

Very very fresh batang fish! Nice flavourful soup but will skip the fried eggs next time coz its makes the soup oily. Yee mee was a little rubbery coz it was undercooked, but the fresh fish was enough reason to be back next time!

The fish soup has a perfect broth; it is savory and rich without being fishy, ​​making you want to keep eating it. The fried fish remains crispy and flavorful even when added to the soup, but the boiled fish may have a slightly fishy taste depending on the day. The price is reasonable, and the portions are generous.

Missing out this fish soup for almost 10 over years ..Last time uncle cook. This time young chap took over and a lady over the cashier taking order. Anyway .the fish soup taste is good and fish portion is generous. I order the double fish porridge.

Frequently dine here. However when ordered delivery, it always have hair in the soup. Hair right above the receipt. And in the soup. Also maybe I order during dinner timing (6pm), only 2 slices of fish found.
