Food is decent but for the accolades that they had displayed (Michelin listed from 2021-2025), one would have higher expectations. I have eaten from the store in the past and I feel like their fish portions have been getting smaller. Undoubtedly, the fish was fresh and the meat was sweet. However, for $6, only five to six thin, bite-sized slices of fish were given. It’s a different case if the fish was chunky or of a thicker cut. Soup broth is light, leans towards to sweeter side.

The hot, deep, and clean broth with a savory umami flavor, combined with the fresh fish, was truly delicious. It is a taste that makes me want to visit Singapore again to eat it!!!

The fish tasted fresh, but the soup itself was a bit bland for my palate. It also felt a little pricey considering it’s essentially just fish soup with some lettuce and not much else.

"MICHELIN, but the standard could have been higher. Fish is fresh but the slices seems to have become thinner over the years. Broth is sweet and light. Fried Fish Soup ($6,8,10,12) Dual Fish Soup ($7,8,10,12)"
