My god, their food and drinks are really nice! 🤩 The Volcano Coffee & Tea was great — nicely balanced and not overly sweet, which I really enjoyed. The toast and eggs were super good too, simple but really satisfying. The Chilli Ban Mee was another highlight. Full of flavour, comforting, and definitely something I’d order again. Portions were good and everything came out tasting fresh. The cafe gets really crowded during peak lunch hours, so expect a bit of a wait and a busy atmosphere. But honestly, the food and drinks make it worth it. Overall, a really enjoyable meal and definitely a place I’d come back to try more items. ⭐ Overall: 4.7/5

Found this little place by chance and really enjoyed it. It feels genuinely local and old-school, rather than like a place set up for tourists. The kaya toast was the highlight for me — simple, but honestly so good. Crispy toast, lots of butter, and the kaya was just right. I actually forgot to take a photo because it was so good that I finished it the moment it arrived 😂 The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth a stop if you want a proper local breakfast in SG.

Nostalgic ambience. Good service especially when the staff kept checking on us and apologising after having to change our seat. Must order toast which is filled with very fragrant kaya (I don’t usually eat kaya with toast but it was so good that I wonder if they just sell the kaya for home use). Dry Ban Mian came with a crunch because of the small ikan bilis and chilli and had a very well balanced umami wok hey taste. Can’t really describe that taste so yall gotta dry it to understand. Unfortunately, we were so looking forward to indulge the food that we didn’t take photos except this one which doesn’t really justify how good the food is.

Very well executed Kaya Butter Toast, you could get both kaya & butter in every crispy bite. However didn't quite like the kaya they used which is more Pandan flavor rather than coconut, it's also creamier than usual though I guess some might prefer it this way. 2nd visit: While the Chilli Ban Mee taste good, it's pathetic portion especially the ingredients really derailed my enjoyment of the noodle. Essential to an outstanding bowl of Ban Mee were simply not there - there was no minced meat, replaced by a few small pieces of meat crumbs instead and you could literally counted the anchovies with one hand. The Chicken Wing on the other hand was plump & juicy, well executed with the right seasoning - my favorite item so far in Wanglee.

I accidentally spilled my rojak, but the staff helped clean it up and kept saying it was okay, and even gave me another serving! The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming!! I also ordered curry chicken and chili pan mee, both were delicious! I'll definitely go again!

First time stepping foot in this outlet, having patronised the Toa Payoh outlet multiple times. I truly, seriously dislike it. The noise is trapped in. The service is not friendly at all. The place traps heat inside. Not happy spending money here. Honestly, I will never come back again

Craving for kaya toast and decided to come Wanglee to try. Very satisfied with the food, especially kaya toast and chilli ban mian! The chilli banmian is moist, flavourful and texture of the noodle is just nice- chewy and not too hard! The environment is cosy and staffs are friendly too!

The ban mian and kaya toast set tasted not bad but the teh was too diluted. The gentleman in dyed blond hair (presumably the boss) was friendly and helpful. Otherwise, service was nonexistent. Ambience was basic.
