Ate with colleagues after seeing Zematte video. Ordered the thigh meat and organs while colleague got ordered the breast meat. Seems like the thigh meat are more tougher while the breast meat more tender. I am looking for the jellyness of the chicken and more grainy rice. Chill and organ liver and gizzards are good. Waiting were long as someone in front take away many packs. If everytime wait long long i think can pass. Taste wise quite special and similar to chicken house at upper Thomson. Small or medium or large might even be too little for some . Was here twice once it was not open another time was dinner time and was already sold out.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must-Visit for Hainan Kampong Chicken Lovers! We came to Nat's Chicks after my daughter's NUS Secondary CEPAT TEPAT Semi-Final competition. Although she didn't make it to the finals, we wanted to celebrate her hard work and determination with a good meal—and this was the perfect choice! ❤️ Everything we ordered was absolutely yummylicious! 😋 Our feast included: 🍗 1 whole steamed kampong chicken 🍗 2 large plates of chicken breast (our 4 kids' absolute favourite!) 🐔 2 portions of chicken liver 🥚 Onion eggs 🌱 Taugeh with light soy sauce 🥬 Steamed kailan & steamed pak choy (special request: no oyster sauce, just soy sauce, black pepper & fragrant fried garlic) The chicken was incredibly tender, juicy and full of natural kampong chicken flavour. The vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked. But the real stars? 🌶️🫚 The chilli paste and ginger paste! Singapore really knows how to make these condiments—they're simply addictive and take the chicken to another level. A special shout-out to the lady boss. She single-handedly runs this cosy restaurant with amazing speed and efficiency. Despite being so busy, she remained friendly, cheerful and always had a smile on her face. Her passion and hospitality made our dining experience even more enjoyable. From 4:45 pm to 6:00 pm, our family of six had such a satisfying early dinner. Every single plate was polished clean—always the best compliment to a great meal! 😄 Thank you, Nat's Chicks, for ending our Singapore trip on such a delicious and memorable note. The $14.90 set lunch comes with their signature kampung chicken rice (M-sized), a side of naibai, a sunny-side-up egg, soup, and a canned drink of choice. It might sound a little steep for chicken rice at first, but one bite in and it will feel like an absolute steal. Every component is ridiculously well done - the rice is phenomenal, the condiments pack a punch, and that just fried runny sunny-side-up egg? Mixed into the rice, I felt I could have polished off the entire plate with just the rice, egg and condiments alone. Kampung chicken was also well-prepared & had good flavour. This is my new favourite chicken rice spot - bonus points for the warm & lovely service! Will absolutely be back and bring along folks next time.

Wanted to try this place back when they were at People’s Park, but they were sold out the last time I visited. Dropped by on a Saturday around 2pm. It wasn’t crowded, but seating is quite limited, so I can imagine it filling up quickly during peak hours. The chicken is kampung chicken, so the meat is a little firmer than regular chicken. Flavour-wise, it’s really good, and the chilli packs quite a punch—which I enjoyed. The rice was pretty standard and nothing particularly memorable. We ordered the 2-person set for $23. It came with two plates of rice and a chicken portion that was slightly less than half a chicken. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely worth a visit if I’m in the area again.

I came here to try because of the YouTube video by Alderic and it didn't disappoint. Overall I was very satisfied with the food. The kampong chicken was tasty without the sauce overpowering it. The rice was aromatic with hints of shallots and paired well with the chicken. The chilli was homemade and was very spicy; something which I liked. However the ginger had too much salt. The kailan vege wasn't that great and gizzard was average. The business is run by a very cheerful lady and her service was excellent. If I'm nearby, I will definitely have it again.👍

We waited for more than 45mins for chicken rice and didn’t feel that it was worth the wait. Rice is on the mushier side and not as fragrant as we would have liked. The flavour is more shallot-forward than your average chicken rice. It is definitely an above average chicken rice and we did enjoy the meal, but the wait was not it.

I highly recommend Nat's Chicks for anyone craving an outstanding plate of chicken rice. From the very first bite to the last, every spoonful is packed with flavour and satisfaction. The chicken is cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and incredibly well-executed—while the rice is aromatic and rich, complementing the dish beautifully. I opted for the set lunch, which offers excellent value for money. The sunny side up egg is a standout addition, with a delightful contrast of crispy edges and a perfectly runny yolk. For families or groups, the half or whole chicken is definitely the way to go—though fair warning, it might still leave you wanting more. It’s easy to see why so many people rave about this spot. I can confidently say that Nat’s Chicks serves some of the best chicken rice around.

Pretty solid chicken rice! Fragrant rice, and the chilli sauce was a nice twist on the usual — more heat, less garlic. We went with the whole chicken, which was tender and mostly boneless. Limited indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a one-lady setup, so waiting time could be longer especially during meal time/ weekends.
