Power Rojak Bandung

A unique way of making rojak, they had century eggs, much like the Chinese wuxiang stall added into a rojak dish. Price was rather high @ $8, but for the added ingredients like century egg and cuttlefish, I guess it was justified.

I would like to provide feedback regarding a disappointing experience my husband had at your stall today at around 2:45 PM. He was attended to by an older lady whose attitude came across as unfriendly and impatient. We were quite taken aback by the overall service. I had asked my husband to order bubur kampung and rojak bandung. From our usual experience, the bubur and its toppings (such as ikan bilis and vegetables like kangkung) are typically packed separately to prevent them from becoming soggy. However, the staff placed everything directly into the porridge. When my husband politely mentioned that the food was meant for dinner and asked if the toppings could be packed separately instead, she responded dismissively and seemed annoyed, saying it would be troublesome. He then requested for the ikan bilis to be changed or repacked separately to keep it crispy. The staff reacted negatively again and insisted that we would have to pay extra for the ikan bilis, even though the issue arose from how the order was initially prepared. Although my husband complied, he was understandably disappointed by the service. Good food should be matched with respectful and attentive service, and unfortunately, this interaction fell short. If shes is not in a good mood, she shouldnt work.

Rojak Bandung has excellent seasoning and balanced taste between sweet and spicy. There's a good mixture of squid and vegetables on top of rice noodles.

Surprisingly the rojak bandung is similar with Malacca Chinese style (halal), the kangkung is a must in this type of rojak. Will be great if the source slightly less sweet and more spicy. 6⭐
