Basil King

Tried the basil pork, level 3 spice with two eggs + spring roll. The basil pork's flavour was REALLY delicious, would totally come back for it. Spice level is ok for me as a spice eater, can go up or down depending on your own tolerance. Honestly I thought I'd enjoy more eggs but the two yolks became a bit too jelak for me after the first few bites. They forgot my spring roll orders but it was quickly fried and placed on my plate within 30secs. Rice portion was really big so good for big eaters. It was pretty crowded when I arrived at 12:30pm, but I was left waiting an additional 10mins while the lady packed up a delivery order. Then a grab delivery driver came and collected 8 PACKETS of food. PSA to other customers: if you are ordering multiple packets, pls have the decency to order ahead of lunchtime so that you don't clog up the already long lunch queue. There's also a limited no of buzzers so they stop taking orders while trying to fulfil the existing orders.

I had the level 3 spicy pork rice with double egg. The food was simple but so good. So flavourful, and i loved the tiny garlic cloves in the pork. The egg white was perfectly crispy below and runny in the yolk. Good portion for the price. Would come back! Also the lvl 3 spice is perfect, sweat abit but not overwhelming

I confess I did this review to get the upsized portion but after eating it I can safely say a normal sized portion would be just nice! Basil pork tastes good and egg is perfectly fried, but because I had the upsized portion there was too much meat which made it a bit salty 😂 Recommend coming earlier if you want to eat during weekday lunch because the crowd is crazy

One of the authentic Thai basil that I had. There are option of minced pork or chicken with selection of how many eggs & spicy level. The minced chicken was slightly salty but it compliments the rice. Best part is that you are able to choose the spicy level that you prefer. Plenty of seats available. There is also a nearby Gelato store Tickles & Giggles that serve artisanal Gelato which you can have after the meal.

In foodcourt, very huge portion, fragrant, can customize dish. Very tasty and the eggs are huge as well. For a foodcourt setting, it is very good value
