Nam Kee Pau

I’m quite disappointed as I arrived at 8:50am today to make a purchase, only to be informed that the shop would only be ready in 20 minutes. This is unacceptable, especially since I had checked Nam Kee’s official website beforehand, which clearly states the operating hours as 7:30am to 9:00pm daily. I made a special trip based on that information. Please refer to the attached listing for reference:

The young female staff member who prepared my banmian today was talking on her mobile phone throughout the entire process. Additionally, she was not wearing a face mask or gloves, which raises hygiene concerns. I had to remind her to do so. Edit: the soy sauce also spilled in the bag. I’ll stick to WWP from now

I frequent this store for years, service has never been great but today’s experience really disappointed me. I paid via ShopBack, but the staff’s iPad didn’t have internet connection to verify the transaction. She insisted she had to see it on her iPad before I could leave. I showed her the successful payment on my phone with the date and time, but she refused to even look at it and just kept telling me to wait. It was clear the issue was the iPad not being connected, but she didn’t seem to know how to troubleshoot it and just kept insisting I wait. I was rushing to pick up my child and simply asked her to check my phone. Instead, she shouted angrily “wait” at me many times and later handed me my food in a very dismissive manner and kept complaining that she would have to pay for it herself since she couldn’t see the transaction on her iPad. I understand she needs to make sure payment went through, but there was no need to raise her voice. There was also a customer before me whom she scolded over the payment mode the customer preferred. Yes, technical issues happen, but repeatedly shouting at a customer and refusing to consider other ways to verify payment is just ridiculous.

I'm not even expecting good service, but could your staff at least get the orders right....... The female staff working there (around 7pm on 18 Jun 2025) still got the order wrong after I've repeated the order to her at least four times and corrected her twice after she repeated it back to me (and the reason why I even repeat my order multiple times in the first place is because this isn't the first time they've gotten my order wrong).

Please change your timing if you are not opening at 8am. I asked the staff what time open She playing phone and just tell me not so early. Cannot even tell me the time.

Will never buy anything from nam kee anymore!! Have always been a fan of nam kee. Bought 10 siew mais from this outlet just now, and they all tasted terrible, sour and even having some kind of foul smell. Have a bite on each of the 10 siew mais and they all tasted badly

Very disappointed at oasis store, most of the time the porridge always finish when I go in the afternoon 1+pm , this has never happened at other stores before. If is near to the closing time I can understand but afternoon..hmmm

I won't even give them any star. Do not buy from their Oasis Terrace store. I bought 10 siew mai on 13 Jan 2026 around 6.30pm. The meat tasted weird and sour.
