Haron Satay & Chicken Wing

First time trying haron satay. I’ve make an order around 19.10 to go so i did ask a lady about waiting time, she told me that waiting time for to go about 20 mins. After 20 mins went back to check and i ask this time an quite old lady so little bit rude saying “ just wait for the buzzer to ring” we here already chaos, i was like ……. So i just ignore her when she mumbling bla bla.. I have to wait another 8 mins and finally an young lady in hers 30’s ask my buzzer number, told her 13 and and finally i got my satay. So i ask her the satay already pack but why buzzer did not ring ? She just smile and say thank you without explain. So i just walk away with my satay.. Total time that i have wasted about 50 mins.. POV satay ok so so but the sauce good. I have order 10 stick chicken and 10 stick beef. The beef meat little hard but chicken was ok.. overall ok so so…

Ordered 30 muttons and 15 chicken satay. Most of it came undercooked, some half-done and some are even raw. We ordered a lot hoping to enjoy our evening but it was a total disappointment. This isn't even the 1st time, hoping they will improve but nope... same story again. Last straw. No more Haron Satay for me and stop recommending to others.

Haron Satay is a lot more better than Lau Pa Sat, takes awhile to cook because it is served hot and freshly cooked for you. The owner was very generous and kind, gave me an extra rice and more peanut sauce. We ordered beef, chicken and mutton satay, tasted really good and balanced. Definitely worth the price. We will come back soon for sure.

Ordered 50 satay - chicken & mutton mixed. The inner batch of satay are RAW! Inedible! SFA to take note & investigate! Is the food even safe to eat if its raw ?! Service was bad, they didn't even know where is their own queue. Won't be coming back again...

Used to frequent Satay Haron but the standard has dropped drastically. Our satay were uncooked. It wasn't just a few sticks, it was the whole batch of 50 sticks. Disappointed.

Satay without onion is like a man lacks of motivation or soul, it looks okay but not okay. I requested to have a bit more onions, the staff was willing to give but the Mak Cik (lady owner) tahan (stopped) him and refused my request without any explanation. Onion is not very pricey but at least let me know either you guys is not sufficient for next customers (but I saw whole bag there). In short, the food is nice, I can guarantee this is the most authentic satay Melayu. Waited for 20 mins only for the chicken satay and 40 mins for the chicken wings although they were ordered during the peak hour. But if you wanna request more like sauce, onion, etc, then quite impossible. I will be back next time and test them again. If the same thing happen I will write the review again.

trying this stall based on recommendations on websites. taste is OK but not worth repeatable experience. Satay marinade is too sweet, yet too many burnt parts so the meat or fatty part are only a few. queueing is 30 minutes minimum in the peak hour (lunch/dinner). rice cake is so so.

After all these years, this place is still amazing. 1 SGD per satay so it’s a little higher cost vs the others but the quality is amazing. Ignore the hecklers who try to get you to go to their stalls, just go straight to the source !! Also, it’ll take time for them to be ready after your order so I recommend getting something while waiting. I got 20 (10 chicken, 10 mutton) for myself and it was pretty filling.
