Haron Satay & Chicken Wing

Satay without onion is like a man lacks of motivation or soul, it looks okay but not okay. I requested to have a bit more onions, the staff was willing to give but the Mak Cik (lady owner) tahan (stopped) him and refused my request without any explanation. Onion is not very pricey but at least let me know either you guys is not sufficient for next customers (but I saw whole bag there). In short, the food is nice, I can guarantee this is the most authentic satay Melayu. Waited for 20 mins only for the chicken satay and 40 mins for the chicken wings although they were ordered during the peak hour. But if you wanna request more like sauce, onion, etc, then quite impossible. I will be back next time and test them again. If the same thing happen I will write the review again.

After all these years, this place is still amazing. 1 SGD per satay so it’s a little higher cost vs the others but the quality is amazing. Ignore the hecklers who try to get you to go to their stalls, just go straight to the source !! Also, it’ll take time for them to be ready after your order so I recommend getting something while waiting. I got 20 (10 chicken, 10 mutton) for myself and it was pretty filling.

I've been going to harun satay for 20 years and they still maintaining the quality. Service is actually better, there is this kakak that served me past two visits there and she's been always friendly.

Was told the waiting time would be 20 minutes, but ended up waiting close to an hour. When the satay finally arrived, it was so hot and oily that it burned through the styrofoam plate, and I had to discard part of the food. Really disappointed with the experience

You could decline customers order if you are closing . But instead you took the order and serve such quality . It’s just not right . Of course we had to eat it , it’s freaking SGD 30 . But definitely no next time 🙏

Still taste good and fast service..my take-away No is 1 but but 2 pretty ladies behind me No.2 got their orders first….Danggg hapi niew year 2026 at East Coast lepakzzz 🤣
