Eng Kee Chicken Wings, Anchorvale Village

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. There was no queue at the time, yet the uncle taking my order was very impatient and seemed unwilling to listen properly. I clearly ordered chicken wing, long beans and egg, but when I received my food, the chicken wing was missing. I find it unacceptable that such a basic mistake could happen when there were no other customers waiting and no apparent rush. It felt as though the uncle was not paying attention while taking my order. The impatient attitude and incorrect order made for a very poor customer experience. I hope management will look into this matter and ensure staff listen carefully to customers’ orders and provide better service in future.

This stall is located in a hawker centre on the 2nd floor of Anchorvale Village shopping centre, where the first floor is where the restaurants are located. It has >30 stalls and can fit 600 pax. Good ventilation given high ceilings, open layout and large High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) ceiling fans. Food quality - the wings are cheaper ($1.70) than Ah Tan's Wings, but being traditional fried wings, they're not the same as Ah Tan's prawn paste type. The fried beehoon is also great ($1.20/1.40). But both are quite salty. Even the chilli is salty. The Beehoon + fish fillet + Egg ($3) Combo is a good deal. Former Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong was known to queue for Eng Kee's wings. Parking - There is a MSCP right inside Anchorvale Village. Kids playground is located on Level 4 and can be reached via stairs from level 3.

Order grab food, by far the worst economic bee hoon I have eaten. Everything tasted very off , no chilli given so i used mine then. It's a shame for their latest genration. If to expand, please expand with quality like how the old generation did.

Bland taste. It used to be quite ok at the beginning but now it is getting worse. Will not return anymore.

Bee hoon is ok, Chicken Wings is good

Service level has dropped since it first opened. Chicken wing still ok but sometimes they tend to give you the cold ones.

Abit too oily and salty for my liking. Has the wok hei but feels too heavy after just eating a small portion. Doesn't help that the uncle is also very grumpy and slow in service, and scolds customers. Overall bad experience and ruins the morning mood and stomach.
